Hey Gang... You all are probably noticing the Google Adsense is now displaying on the site. This is to help produce income for the site to keeping the bills paid. I'm currently going through the setup phase of the program and attempting to resolve coding issues and keeping both vendor and adsense going happily. So I know I've got coding work to do. Google Adsense should only be displayed to... Banned Members Guest (Not logged in) Free Members (Not donated) If you donated member you should only see the standard in house vendor ads. What happened to the site search engine, seems it doesn't have the advanced option it used to and what is the difference in live or archive searches? I have been trying to use it several times the last few weeks and it never finds what I know is on here which I have searched for many times using simple search terms. Seems it doesn't bring up anything older than a year or less anymore. Am I missing something, doing something wrong or did it change?

I'm working on doing a dark skin for mobile devices. I was doing some study work on battery life for mobile devices. It seems that a 20% gain can be had on battery life if you use black or near black colors. So I'm currently in the process of creating a skin for the mobile users so that both sides of the site are dark colored. I'm check to make sure there is just enough contrast still to read post. I'll release the skin here in a couple of days after getting it created. I'm sure I'll miss a few things here and there so please let me know if something is colored wrong or hard to see.

Well gang... I got to say thanks to JAG1 for going out on a limb and producing the first swag for the site. It's a basic stainless steel badge that is stencil cut with the logo of the site. You can mount this in different locations like on your grill, some double sided tape and stick it to the glass or above the Dodge Badge. It up to you. The only thing I need yet to start selling is I need to pick up a some flat rate envelopes from the post office and I'll be set. Later tonight I'm finish the description in the store. So you might want to look over here... http://store.mopar1973man.com/index.php/mopar1973man-com-swag/stainless-steel-badges.html

Ok Gang... To stay transparent and to inform the group I made a investment into a device to deal with mobile skin issue. I bought a cheap $49 Azpen A729 Android Tablet. It just showed up today. Nice 7" screen about the same as most common mobile devices like some iPhone and Android phones. So at least now I can work with the mobile side and start resolving some of the weakness on this side of the site. No, I didn't get a high dollar tablet... Very budget minded... http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=9099201&Sku=WZP-102513149

Ok Gang. Mobile usage is climbing on the site. The mobile users are now 52%, desktop is barely 40% and tablet users are almost 8%. Now using more data from Google Analytics I'm going to base my skin design off of the most popular device which happens to be both iPhones and iPads. So now looking up the oldest and smallest screen size for iPhones its 960x640. Which is really easy to work with. But Funny part is there is several other phones or mobile devices with a screen as small as 320x480. This becomes a huge challenge to work with but I'm going to keep check my skin against this mall size to be sure not to exclude small devices.

Hey Gang. I know there is a bunch of service manuals to download on the site. Could any of you guys/gals let me know if your an originator of a file please and I'll change the author name on the file so it shows up in your profile. If you aren't but want to to become one please step up and I'll add your name to the file. I just think it looks better with username than Guest on all the files.

Is anyone else not getting email noticiations with the setting set to immediate?? I have tried multiple email providers and it always ends up the same, it works for a couple days and then quits. Gmail, Hotmail, and iCloud. So does anyone else have this problem? Or has Michael just put me on the no email list :-)

Ok Gang... Here is a freebie plugin I found that might help keep the "Family Members" together. Now if you going to post your location I highly suggest you only give City & State. As for Vendors I'll manual add them into the map with a custom icon. As for 911 Members I will manual add them on request. I know we got the 911 Forum also but I'm wondering how many of those are out of data. So it might be a good idea to find out if you have a 911 list and update it and let me know I'll add a custom pin for 911 members. Because of a licensing issues with Bing there is no way to prevent viewing of the map. So, I highly suggest once again DO NOT to post you ac…

when I hit the view new content tab, it says there is no new content. I can go to forums and scroll down and see where there are new threads and new posts but they don't come up with the new content tab. Is this a problem with my iPad or the site?

I wonder who modified this search engine? Because you can hunt the root domain the words (the cummins guru) is not there... http://mopar1973man.com <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <title>Welcome To Mopar1973Man.Com</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="_root/root.css"> <meta charset="UTF-8"> <meta name="description" content="Welcome to Mopar1973Man.Com Articles and Forum."> </head> <body> <div id="wrapper"> <h1>Welcome To</h1> <div id="logo"> <img src="_root/title-banner.png" alt="Mopar1973Man Logo" width="448" height="45"><br /> <img…

http://community.invisionpower.com/blogs/entry/9726-ipboard-33x-34x-security-update/ We are releasing a patch for IP.Board 3.3.x and 3.4.x to address two CSRF issues and one XSS issue. It has been brought to our attention that a cross site request forgery issue exists with gravatar images that can allow a potential attacker to cause a user to store a gravatar profile photo that was not desired. Further, during internal reviews of the issue we discovered another CSRF issue that can allow an attacker to mark all private messages as read. Finally, a minor "self XSS" issue has also been patched with this update. To apply the patch Simply download the attached zip fo…

I'm pretty sure everything is up and functional for the main parts of the softwares (forum and articles). If anyone see any errors or weirdness in the site please post a support ticket. I will deal with them as they come. I'm missing like the social media icon above and a few other things. So if you spot things that are working right. Please make a support ticket explain to the best of your abilities of what you see or the errors that are displayed. Like I just got done fixing the article database and configuring PHP module so things a function properly. Like I said it might not be obvious and stick out but if you stumble on a bug. Please report it.
