Once again my most hated company "Microsoft" and "Hotmail" and all Microsoft provided email is completely blocking all delivery. I've was told during the sale of my hosting that I would be sold a clean IP address. I'm now on the phone with the hosting company dealing with the email issues since it impacts a lot of members and customers (Shop). Really does piss me off to jump through the hoops to get a clean IP address and being able ot send normal emails to members and customers alike. SMTP error from remote mail server after pipelined MAIL FROM:<________@_____.mopar1973man.com> SIZE=14633: 550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [xx.xx.xx.xx] weren't se…

We finally made it to the new server. I would like to say sorry for the lost post. This was due to the fact the domain name hand off was done poorly and the time it took for the servers around the world to update there domain name server took longer than expected. So we were posting on the old server for a day. Now e are for sure on the new server... Again sorry for lost of information in the forum. I've got lots of work now on my side to do. Like first off the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) package needs to be fully updated, configured, and optimized. Like we moved from MySQL to MariaDB. They basically work the same but small difference in configuring. I'v…

I just got the account started this morning. It's paid for and getting built as I type this message. I'm going to aim for the migration to occur starting on November 1st, 2020. This way you all are aware of the change and might see a bit of down time. The hosting company promised that the last step of the domain redirect will occur in a mere 15 to 30 minutes for the only down time we might see. I'm in the process of getting it done.

For once I very thankful for the tip jar idea that @leetycreated. Yesterday morning it was very cold here at 24°F and when I went out to start my truck after sitting all night. Didn't twist very long about 1/2 a weak revolution and then the dreaded clicking right behind it. Tossed the truck in neutral and let it roll back in the driveway. I told @Wet Vettegotta get batteries for the "The Beast". I was planning on heading to Lewiston for groceries already yesterday. Since I was going I was able to pickup two new 810 CCA batteries at WalMart for $119 a piece. good price! I hopped over and replaced a few sockets I've either wore out and a few I've lost on job. W…

Sorry for the downtime. There was a configuration file that was corrupt and saved. Once the server rebooted it hung itself. Managed to fix this with only my cellphone. We are rolling again.

Sorry for the downtime. All the forum software is up to date. Our server on the other hand is out of date. Im planning on moving servers starting next week. The new hosting company will migrate the site for me. This is a huge plus. Im going to request that it occurs after 11pm being the traffic here drops after that time. As for the forum software look around there is many new features. I turned off my old skin for now since most of the menu is missing. I'll be working on building a new skin for the site. Again sorry for the downtime. Im going to try and keep thing flowing better. Im going to take up @JAG1 idea…

There is several things that been updated. cPanel/WHM software PHP software Linux OS software Then there was configurations and tuning involved to get the most out of the software. So far I've managed to beat the tar out of the software enough to serve 1,000 connections with 20 seconds. Worst for the end user is about 4 seconds while server 1,000 connections. I'm using a bench-testing software similar to dyno'ing a truck. Lay your load against the server and watch how long it takes to serve the amount of people.

Sorry gang for the people that have orders placed on the site store for parts and high idle kits. I've not forgot you. I'm going to be delayed in getting things shipped out. @Wet Vette had a medical emergency that had me drop everything and get her to the hospital and take care of her. I've now chased her down to Boise and thing are doing well. I should be home by Wednesday to resume normal operations again. Again I'm sorry for the delays but I will get the products out as soon as I can.

Ok gang. I've got a member that is worried about stepping on toes. Let's say Member A had produced a write up for a 2nd Gen. Then Member B wants to improve on Member A's article. This is absolutely fine. Anyone may improve on anyone else's articles. I would say keep it in the GNU license design. In a nutshell GNU license agreement states that anyone can rewrite a piece of Linux software but the author MUST give credit to the original author design. Putting this together for M73M.com anyone can rewrite an article and improve but the new author MUST acknowledge the previous author. It would be kind of nice to point out what the improvement is as well. …

Many times I want to go back there again, but thinks I don't need to read it twice so it won't show the posts. Many times you give yourself time to think on what's been posted, come back later with more coffee, then read them again.
