Now, just because a watery tart threw a sword at you is no basis of government! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GS_1bzaj2fw&feature=plcp I figured we could all use some humor, considering everything going on.

  2. So, as the title states, I want to publicly thank Ryan "rth0006" http://forum.mopar1973man.com/members/11105-rth0006 for a couple reasons.. Story: My good friend, who lives here in Winchester, VA by me, was on his way back home from Louisiana. He's on a Disaster Support Team that supports the wireless and wireline 911 service in disaster-stricken areas of the US. He's spent the past week or so supporting Key West, FL, then MS and LA. He was headed home from Louisiana tonight, and blew out the transfer case in his '05 3500 SRW 6 speed 4x4 around exit 32 on I-85, about 20 minutes outside Auburn, AL. I checked the directory, and found Ryan was in Auburn. Let me tel…

Moparmom called me to say mike has been at it for 48 hours now and needs sleep so until he gets back on here and gives the go ahead, don't try calling him because it is just flooding moparmom. If you have an emergency then you would be better off looking at the 911 section or calling me (though I am not available often currently) at 660-287-7318. A lot of peoples numbers are in their profile if you click on their name.. Thanks guys.

Im not tech savy but would like an Iphone but I dont want to pay for the monthly plan so maybe an Ipod is the next best thing. I know nothing about them but would like to know if you can run internet and navigation while on the road. A gps would be good if you know the address your looking for but if not it would be nice to look it up while in the truck already on the road. Can this be done with an Ipod or do I need to get an Iphone with the monthly plan?

So I have been crazy busy for the last few months and aside from trolling a little I haven't been on the forum much. I did however complete a task worthy of the forum. (for me anyway) Thought I would share my experience. I was called on by a friend to travel from central KY to Austin TX and pick up his race car and bring it back. I haven't ever made that long of a journey for purposes of hauling/towing something, but I thought it would be kinda fun and I like to put the ol girl to work on occasion. I don't know what my weight was, but it wasn't bad. I made the trip in a total of 37 hours. Used 120 Gallons of Fuel and traveled 2140 miles. So I averaged…

I have an old POS laser printer and a new inkjet and currently I have both connected to a POS computer to be used as a print/file server. The laser is parallel port and I don't have one on this new beast so I was kinda forced.. I can't even load a driver for it so I can just print from my windows 7 computer because windows 7 is too new. So I easily use remote desktop and manage with ease. But, that computer is a 2ghz celeron with 1gb memory.. It's a dog. And it is just doing the BSOD every 5 seconds ever since it installed some .NET framework update. Along with some other issues.I like fedora and figured I would throw it on there. But, I have no idea how to get it…

Ive been following the channel dedicated to hurricane issac. Those poor people down there just cant catch a break. the hurricane appears to have been much worse than anticipated due to the fact that it has literally stalled out once making landfall. Theyre already saying the flooding has become significantly worse than katrina, as much as 25 inches of rainfall in the past day and a half. Praying for everybody down there, theyve got a long ways to go as levees are continuing to fail and people bieng evacuated as we speak.

I just got schooled on how to do all the library research crap at college and of course I went after diesel topics while I'm on break (now) and I just found something incredible that answers a LOT of problems that most of us don't have the means to prove/disprove. It is a PDF and I think it is public, guess I'll find out when I go to jail. I'm pretty sure its a publication on the internet but I can never find stuff like that through google. Anyways, there will be questions about all the acronyms and I already spent a while finding them all so I'll make your alls life easy lol. 14. I've got the engineering worked out, on how to mount it using Cat V receiver parts. The problem I'm struggling with is how to power the thing with enough juice to load something that won't run. It's a 10k winch, and I want to be able to power it using the tow vehical batteries. I have all the welding lead for cable that I could possible need to do the job. My questions would be: How do I hook it up to the batteries? What should I use for terminal connectors at the back of the truck, and coming off the winch on the trailer.

http://2016themovie.com/ So, I had the opportunity to partake in seeing this movie. I figured to definitely let you guys know of this movie. It finally made a showing here locally and I took the wife to see it. In summary: If you have any care for this country and for what it stands for, its a 100% important worthwhile thing to spend the money on seeing. It was not all exactly of what I expected to see, but nonetheless very important. The movie uncovers alot of mystery and fog around obama and his past life. Shedding some secrecy around his workings. I was shocked for sure and also was presented with a a different theory that meshes very well into the scheme of things…

  18. A friend has a neat signal cannon in 8 gauge. Yeah, right, try to find 8 gauge cases. The plastic industrial shells have to be modified to work and then melt after a few firings with black powder. Brass or SS is the way to go. He contracted some cases made, but in the mean time I've been playing with some brass stock (cut off propeller shafting)... to make one. 8 bore 3.25" shell. It's been interesting as my 1930s vintage SouthBend is several generations of tooling obsolete. I have not kept up so it's been a learning curve to adapt my machine to new cutters & especially a new boring bar. It's do a few minutes, think about it for a day or 2... try something …

So glad this wasn't me! It appears something happened to the wires causing them to hang too low. Until these (2) 18 wheelers took them down. One North bound, one South bound. Actually, early today, Sunday morning, they were supposed to put them back up. These were High Voltage supp;y lines. Lucky no one way killed, either electrically or in the pile up following.
