A College Professor stood on his chair & said If GOD really exists then knock me off this chair. Nothing happened, the class was quiet he said See! now I'll give it a couple more minutes. A Marine Vet stood up, punched him in the face knocking him out of the chair then sat back down. As the Professor came to he looked at his student & said WHY DID YOU DO THAT? He said, GOD was busy protecting my buddies still fighting for your right to say & do stupid stuff like this so HE SENT ME........

Little Sally led off: "I sold girl scout cookies and I made $30" she said proudly, "My sales approach was to appeal to the customer's civil spirit and I credit that approach for my obvious success." "Very good" said the teacher. Little Jenny was next: "I sold magazines" she said, "I made $45 and I explained to everyone that magazines would keep them up on current events." "Very good, Jenny" said the teacher.. Eventually, it was Little Johnny's turn. The teacher held her breath ..... Little Johnny walked to the front of the classroom and dumped a box full of cash on the tea…

I'm posting this not to offend anyone. We've grown to accustomed to the "sanitized" version of events that happened that day 10 years ago; I think the "hard facts" need to be known and we need to reminded of the horror of that day 10 years ago. http://www.esquire.com/features/ESQ0903-SEP_FALLINGMAN Never Forget!!

Well gang... Just like the title says I ran away from home and got into hot water... Hot spring that is. I took a short trip and spend the night over at Kirkham Hotsprings in southern Idaho. http://www.idahohotsprings.com/destinations/kirkham/ Here is camp... So now wonder down the trail to the hotsprings... Look at the pretty blue waters of Idaho... Just below is the falls where you enjoy the hot water... But I started wondering how hot the water was right out of the ground... Just a bit to hot to play with! So we enjoyed the hotsprings and desided to look at another spot... So MoparMom and Diesel played in the river. So we got tired and came back to ca…

This is some good advice. Time Honored & Some sound advice! TIPS ON PUMPING GAS I don't know what you guys are paying for gasoline.... but here in California we are paying up to $3.75 to $4.10 per gallon. My line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of your money's worth for every gallon: Here at the Kinder Morgan Pipeline where I work in San Jose, CA we deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period thru the pipeline.. One day is diesel the next day is jet fuel, and gasoline, regular and premium grades. We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons. Only buy or …

I'm back at it again hauling large loads of firewood again... (Myself on the left and James on the right) One of those last minute runs to the woods to pick up a load. We had rode the ATV up the day before and looked around and found several places for firewood. But I was wanting to get some red fir for the pile so out came the saws and start bucking up rounds. I got a tidbit of video I got to process out later on... But I had to share my of use and our prize for the evening...

State police stopped me. My truck is home with engine trouble and I'm driving my wives 2000 v6 Camero. I was doing 76 in a 55. He asked me why I was driving so fast. I replied that my daily driver is a 12 valve cummins and I drive by sound.. He asks sound? I said yes. When my truck is screaming and you can't hear yourself over the straight pipe I know I'm doing 62-65 mph.. my wives car runs so smooth I forgotten I was in it... He handed my information back and said.. I understand... Have a nice day...Holy cow.. Did that just happen?

I saw this while looking at B47 stuff. Called JATO (jet assisted take off) or more recently RATO (rocket assisted take off). From what I found out, when planes are heavily loaded and have short runways or are taking off in a hot and high elevation, they use these to give them an extra kick in the rear. I thought it was absolutely incredible. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw2bAJGgCZI&feature=related Then theres this thing which is just nuts. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=WKCl3lfAx1Q Heres a pic of a B47 using them. --- Update to the previous post... Just found this, my new boat. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/…

As you guys know (or may not have known) I ride dirt bikes a LOT. Mainly in springfield, MO. Last week I wondered why I was driving 300 miles a weekend just to go riding, so I looked at the jobs there and found one for APU tech. An APU is an auxilliary power unit. It is a 20hp diesel, thinking 2 or 3 cylinder, that runs the heat, a/c, alternator, etc for a trucker instead of otherwise running his 14 liter engine all night just to keep warm. They are a neat little engine and I think it would be really nice to work on them, wouldn't have to have a cherry picker just to take the head off. I have always wanted to mess with diesels as my job and I went to school for gene…

I'm in Rhode Island... about a mile from Ct line. It looks like the eye will miss us. There is no way the storm will miss us.We are high here, in the woods. Likely we'll lose power & communications. We are planning to spread our vehicles around, so no single tree fall can wipe out them all. The little generator I bought is running fine but my big Honda 6500 generator won't stay running. Too late now to get it serviced. We have the camper with it's gas appliances, a gas grill, a gas 2 burner hot plate. My cottage, rented to our niece, is a mile from the beach I have advised them to plan a sleep over someplace inland. I hope it is still standing after... the…
