Your director forgot to tell you that this weekend he is attending the Central Idaho Fire Academy in Donnelly, Id. starting tonight at 6pm. He will have arson investigation and extrication classes to fulfill. He will not be returning to the ranch here until sometime late Sunday afternoon. Michael just called at 6 PM and said that he has internet and his laptop, so he'll be popping in and out of the site as classes permit. No need to call the house...catch him on the site. He and his buddy (Kelly) have the RV up there so they're comfey!!!!Like to take the time to say hello to Tracy and welcome to our world-wide family. Love MoparMom

  3. Finally, a cheap fix for once! Massey Ferguson tractor with 354 perkins was loping, surging, and acted like it was 5 seconds 'behind' the governor. Son was already to pull the pump and get a rebuilt... I said whoa! lets do a little investigating first! This motor has a little handle on the lift pump to hand prime the system, and could only get 3-4 pumps before you could feel it cavitate. So, I figured 'restriction' of some sort. Pulled the plug from bottom of tank, (which also serves as a pickup-screen for suction tube) and Voila'!! crud! so, 14 bucks for new filters, a good dousing of good ol #2, and we be…

Just wanted to post a word of Thanks!!! I just purchased a 1997 Ram 3500 12v Cummins that had what the previous owner and I thought to be a shutoff solenoid problem. Well with the help of ISX and Larry B @ http://www.fostertruck.com/ found that it was just the relay and the fusible link wiring that was the problem and not the solenoid Just bought the Truck Aka "Yabba Doo" (yes, I am goofy and name all my vehicles:wink:) on Monday evening... Fixed by Wednesday morning!!!! Thank You!!!!!

TOOL DEFINITIONS: DRILL PRESS: A tall upright machine useful for suddenly snatching flat metal bar stock out of your hands so that it smacks you in the chest and flings your beer across the room, denting the freshly-painted part which you had carefully set in the corner where nothing could get to it. WIRE WHEEL: Cleans paint off bolts and then throws them somewhere under the workbench with the speed of light. Also removes fingerprints and hard-earned calluses from fingers in about the time it takes you to say, ''What the...'' I'm not particularly familiar with ATV's or small motorsport crafts. Although, seems like the basics apply. Internal combustion engine, fuel injected, or carbed, etc. What I do not know, is the more special things related to them. So this is why I figured I should post something here as I know some of you guys are more seasoned at them.I've got a Yamaha Big bear and I think its a late 90's. Apparently had a tune up and the likes at a local dealer. My father in law begs to differ as he is having a hard time figuring out what he paid for.So I drove it a couple days ago to go looking for a deer I thought I may have killed. Took a road and got going fast. Thumb-throttle pegged…

Took an evening trip up into the forest, hoping to see an elk, bear or deer to poke or shoot. Alot of out of staters coming in the area.. :think:I want our grounds back!No sign of animal, elk were all shut up, did not wanna bugle. Ran into some other hunters, said there has been wolf in the area. :banghead:Yellow jackets have been a NIGHTMARE. Sounds like the forest is ALIIIIVE!So instead of going home empty handed, we looked for another form of food. Drove down a very frequented road only to find GOBS of it! Amazing how many people go up and down it and never even give it a thought!Shaggy meins! I filled a 5 gallon bucket with these! You gotta be quick though, as they w…

I don't have insurance, my wife does, but, because of O'care it's going to double in January. This means we cannot afford it any longer. It's too bad.... we both work a lot and don't get benefits. Now we'll get fined for no insurance. The only reason for O'care is the fact that most Americans are having to face paying for increases in transportation, house and fuel just to keep a job/ keep going. With wages worth lees and less it's forcing many to cancel their Health insurance. O'care makes sure and guarantees the health industry stays alive. For taxation on profits and all but, it's crap with this fine thing, no freedom of choice. When the time comes for me to kick the buc…

I keep saying "no" .... but the price is fairly attractive. If I was planning to keep for some time - not concerned with resale issues - what would I look for ?Any experiences yourself - good or bad ???

As Dodge continues to shoot itself in the foot, it appears that Nissan is taking advantage of Dodge's corporate stupidity. http://blog.dieselpowerproducts.com/nissan-joining-forces-with-cummins-what Yes, Dodge insists upon installing a puny, 3 liter, imported VM Motori diesel in their 1500 trucks for 2014. http://blog.dieselpowerproducts.com/chrysler-finally-adds-a-diesel-engine-to-the-1500-dodge-ram The Cummins 5 liter V-8 handily CRUSHES the puny 3 liter VM Motori diesel is just about every aspect. http://blog.dieselpowerproducts.com/chrysler-finally-adds-a-diesel-engine-to-the-1500-dodge-ram The Dodge truck brand has ALWAYS been associated with Cummins (r…

I just could not help myself... :spank:So I took the wife off to a local place for some ice cream. Needed to get outta the house and spend some time together. On the way there, crusin along down the road, a person on a bike decided that they were above the rules of the road and was going to dart across two lanes of traffic right in front of me. I was ready to slam on the brakes to prevent from hitting him, but at the last moment just hugged the sidewalk instead. I passed by and he darted over into my lane. I kept on going and he was RIGHT ON MY REAR. So... The got the best of me and I noticed I had the comp on 5x5. ROMP! LET 'ER RIP! :lmao:The personal satisfaction of…

FIVE LESSONS FROM AN OLDER WOMANSHE WALKED UP AND TIED HER OLD MULE TO THE HITCHING POST. AS SHE STOOD THERE, BRUSHING SOME OF THE DUST FROM HER FACE AND CLOTHES, A YOUNG GUNSLINGER STEPPED OUT OF THE SALOON WITH A GUN IN ONE HAND AND A BOTTLE OF WHISKEY IN THE OTHER.THE YOUNG GUNSLINGER LOOKED AT THE OLD WOMAN AND LAUGHED,"HEY OLD WOMAN, HAVE YOU EVER DANCED?"THE OLD WOMAN LOOKED UP AT THE GUNSLINGER AND SAID, "NO, I NEVER DID DANCE... NEVER REALLY WANTED TO."A CROWD HAD GATHERED AS THE GUNSLINGER GRINNED AND SAID, "WELL, YOU OLD BAG, YOU'RE GONNA DANCE NOW," AND STARTED SHOOTING AT THE OLD WOMAN'S FEET.THE OLD WOMAN PROSPECTOR -- NOT WANTING TO GET HER TOE BLOWN OFF -- …

Ended up getting one with about 87,000 miles on an otherwise almost perfect 2010 outback. The reason for this is my wifes older Forester was totaled by a teen age tailgator. I had to get her another car and this was the best around without going new (no debt) as the insurance made sure we were shorted as they tend to do.But.... I'm worried about the CVT transmission. Can't find much on the net except it seems as though its proving itself to be reliable so far. I'd like to hear anyones thoughts/ experiences.Subaru claims people are trading in their BMW's, Mercedes, and most other cars due to the repair bills they are tired of. Our dealer sold 190 cars last mo. with increas…

The neighbor behind me finally got the "tree guys" out to take down a silver maple that was hanging over their house. I was planning on working today; but I had a light week, so I took the day to cut and gather this instead!!! I got probably 85% of the big stuff. Marvin, the owner, said the other neighbor wanted the smaller stuff..........under 4-5"..... so I left that in long lengths..................just to make sure he really wants it!!!! There's still the main trunk of the tree left to cut up/noodle!! Marvin had them, the tree guys, just drop the tree. I'll help him haul the brush to the street-side so the township can chipper-shread it once the big stuff i…
