So me and war eagle set up a deal to make trades for mounting brackets for our 5th wheel hitches. We paid shipping for our own packages to the other. He had what I needed and vice versa. There had to be an aspect of trust there in order to take the others word for it that they would ship their package with no real proof.The only common ground we had was the honor system and that probably because were both on this forum, that we both must be a decent person.All I can say is that everything went according to plan and now I can get started on putting my hitch in!

Well its been a long day for me. My dog "Diesel" wound up going to the vet for a eye injury that neither Mom or I know how he got. But the lens of his eye is scuffed by a object like a stick or some thing. So he's going to be ok. Then get home and get a bunch of phone calls for A/C recharging here locally and one for a leaking VE pump. I managed to nail down the two A/C jobs and get them nearly done. But ran out of freon on the second job. So I got to finish the job tomorrow when the freon comes. Then I hook up with a friend in town to see what up. He reminds me that there is a fire meeting tonight. So off to Station 3 to pick up a fire truck and haul out to Slate Creek S…

Yet again I have been fairly absent from the forum, just making it on when I had a couple minutes down time here and there. I have been in the process of buying another casa and finally got it all worked out. My wife and I have been looking for some land for a while now and just couldn't find anything close enough to her work but far enough in the country to be country and still be able to both enjoy the house and afford to buy it. I've been needing tires on my dually for awhile. When I got stuck (saturday) in the wet grass, spun, but didn't tear up the yard, I knew I had issues. Later that day, towing my 20ft enclosed down the 2-lane back roads, I was traveling about 15mph. Went to pass the bicycle while climbing a slight grade, I added throttle and spun the tires with ease.. Now, these tires (Firestone Transforce AT, 235/85-16) aren't bald, by any stretch, but they are getting close to their end of life cycle.. I decided to look for tires. My sizes were 215/85-16, 235/85-16, or 245/85-16. I searched and searched, and 6 tires seemed to average about $1000 or so, shipped. Locally,…

No wildfires out here, but this is what part of I70 on the west side of Indy looked like when I went home about 3 weeks ago. I crossed a bridge over a river that topped its banks and all of sudden it was like driving to Key West only lower.

We were on our way home from Donnelly, Id. this afternoon. Highway flashing sign said, "Wild fire ahead 29 miles." Mike said, "I know where that's at. It DB's ranch. I drop you off at the house Mom, grab my gear and get a fire truck. That was at 2:30...It's now going on 8PM. Winds have died down up at this end of the canyon which is a good sign. Well I got around to building a spray boom to put on the fourwheeler today. Did my math wrong though. I have a 1gpm pump on sprayer and thought I could safely handle 5 nozzles without overworking the pump but the pump is to small to handle that much flow requirements. Aside from that it works great. I have a ten foot boom and only 70 dollars in it. But will have to upsize on pumps which will be another fifty dollars. - - - Updated - - -

Hello, I am back as i had been M.I.A on this forum... i had been busy at work, ford trainings, family vacation on christmas, and had lost a grandma in feburary... right now i am at Cincinnati, Ohio for ford training as engine diagonsis and repair. it is my second training for this year... i has get sixth certified after this course.

Alright, looking for anyone who lives in Missouri. Need to see if you have seen or heard anything on the news about this:Just recently, within a few days or so ago, my wife had some of her extended family murdered. I guess it was 6 people murdered and the guy was shot and killed by the police.If anyone here lives in Missouri and remembers hearing about this, please, I would appreciate a link to the story to share with her family.

My daily driver is squealing with the brakes... I'm really disappointed with the serive life of the pads that my mechanic has been using. Honestly, I don't drive slow but I believe in inticipating my turns & need to stop & prepositioning my vehicle in the corrrect lane... coasting off speed (like getting free gas) before finally using the brakes. It seems like every year I'm replacing brakes & the shop charges are not cheap. So, I'm going to just stick new pads on it myself. But what to get? The prices are all over. I'm out of touch with the better/lesser grades. What to get? Where to get it?Thanks, guys!
