Ok, so yesterday (of all days), I get in the truck after work. Fire it up, glance at the Attitude monitor, see oil pressure readings, and roll out of the parking lot. I get about 500yds down the road when I glance to the monitor to see the screen completely pixeled.. IOW, every LCD pixel was on; the screen was solid black.I pulled over, cycled the ignition, but this time nothing... at all.. only the back illumination and buttons lit up. the screen completely blank. I shut the truck back off, unplugged/replugged the control box, and checked the green connector for the monitor.Still same thing.. illumination and blank screen.I tried touching the power-level arrows …

Michael,I re-read the whole "monster thread" about 2 stroke that I started on CF in May, 2005, that you took over and.................did what you did!!!! I was surprised how "absent" I was for much of the original thread. But IIRC, you had started other 2 stroke threads in there that I was on.................not to mention the feud DuluthDiesel and I had at the same time regarding my WallyWorld oil usage and TP bypass filters going on at the same time!!! Twas interesting reading for sure!! I would've "cut and pasted" threads, but...................old news!!:thumbup2:Joe

I have been driven half insane by a little green (nursery) wagon. Very handy around the yard. (Most recently to haul my cannons & powder magazine to the backyard on the 4th... til the wheel fell off again.) Let me start at the beginning: Wagon is a few years old... 2 front tires went flat. I patched the tubes... let them sit for a few days, seemed fixed. I found it takes 4 hands to hold the 2 piece rims, tube & tires, get the bolts, lock washers & nuts installed. (Note, I only have one hand that works decent, my frustration level gets pretty high.) The tires stayed up 2 days counting the day I put it together. FAIL! I took them apart, Sheila…

Took a little jaunt today. Just over an hour each way... should have been at least. Traffic was pretty heavy BOTH toward the beaches & surprizingly away too. All lanes had vehicles... almost going the speed limit... but all lanes were backed up too. And at the front of each backed up lane... some *** **** who is afraid to freakin drive. It's amazing how a couple of slow pokes can back up the interstate. I know, I should be more patient. It's bad for my blood pressure, I'm sure. The IDIOTS are oblivious to all the other drivers on the road. If it was just one, you could maneuver around them... the roads are full of them... AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

I wonder if plasti-dip would work good for battery terminals? I have never used it but a buddy just sprayed hs grill and I think it would work good for protecting terminals. What says the rest of you cummins owners?

  15. OK guys, I've had enough of this weather already!!!!! It ain't even "mid-summer" yet!!!!:ahhh:It's been hot here since the Memorial Day weekend.......give or take a few days in there. This past weekend, my retriever club had our regular hunt test..........it was miserably hot. Monday thru today at my house have been over 100*.........with little or no wind!!!!!! Tuesday hit 103.5 on my digital thermometer, yesterday, 106.7 and todays temp is what you see in my pix as of 12:40PM on Thursday!!!! It'll be at least what yesterday was. The round thermometer…

It eventually came to pass, that a house within our fire district was utilized as an opprotunity to receive some training. The homeowners turned it over to us and we were able to burn it down. Much preperation was taken to ready the house for us to conduct our training. Asbestos crews had to come in and remove the nasty stuff before we could do anything to it. We utilized their garage for a previous dept. training in fire investigation. Later, it became another means for adding more fuel load to the house. The local paper had a photographer come on Saturday while we were doing our live fire training. He actually suited up and went into the house with us! He was able …

One of the career guys at the fire dept owns a Ram 1500. The other day, he had to emergency brake due to a person stepping out in front of him. This is the product of doing so! I think his rotor was so rusted out that over time the fins in the rotor just were not strong enough to hold the braking force anymore. Create that oreo half-seperation effect. He had no brakes after this and had to limp it home on the e-brake. All he heard was a clunk when it fell apart.

This was sent to me by another member of the site in a email mail. Very nice story and makes a point.DOES GOD EXIST? This is one of the best explanations on the nature of God that I have ever seen... A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: 'I don't believe that God exists.' 'Why do you say that?' asked the customer.'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick pe…

Appears to be living under an old chicken coop... Wife is renewing fencing around the vegie plot but I could be a hero if I could eliminate the pest (not to mention eating well). He's pretty shy and too far from the house... the few times I've seen him, he disappeared before I could deploy the .22 Hornet. There just isn't enough open space to hunt him... too many concealed ways for him to get to the garden.I'm thinking of gassing him. A flexi exhaust, a lawn tractor. (Carbon monoxide) As far as we can tell, all the holes are under the chicken coop or adjoining horse runout shed. I suppose I could set up a seat & wait with a scatter gun in case he has another …
