Posted October 4, 20159 yr Like I said I was looking under the hood today and found a Diablo sport power puck and I don't know anything about them.will it play well with my superchip
October 4, 20159 yr Owner 60 HP chip that works solely off thee CANBUS. No wire tap. No adjustments. I don't suggest stack against the Diablo Power Puck most likely both tuners add timing. Too much timing can be rather damaging.
October 4, 20159 yr I would remove the pp as the supercharged can read codes etc. Other than that they won't be different
October 4, 20159 yr Unfortunately, no. The rule is that you can stack fuel, but you don't want to stack timing. Finding out what some of the more obscure chips do is hard sometimes.

October 4, 20159 yr I think that the reason for not stacking timing is erratic results. The electrical timing is LIMITED to the timing range of the VP44. You can not exceed the full advance timing, no matter what you do. All the electrical tuners or chips reprogram or fool the truck's ECM and VP44 electronics. This is different from mechanical Injection Pumps like VE & P7100.
October 5, 20159 yr Author Thanks for the help I ended up take the pp out the superchip that I had has some better features
October 5, 20159 yr Author My plan was to drive with each one and see which one I like more the shitty thing is I have 3 timing boxes now

This is different from mechanical Injection Pumps like VE & P7100. As a tech from Quadzilla told me years ago the VP44 can reach full advancement in timing in stock form. So what the timing box/programmers do is change hen it reaches full advancement. P7100 is the only pump without dynamic timing at all. It a fixed timed pump and will will never change over the span of RPM. VE has old school hydraulic timing based on fuel pressure and KSB valve tied to the IAT sensor.
