Leak coming from front passenger corner of block. Quit for awhile then started again. No coolant in oil

  • Yes it did. However I know of others that did not. Pressure tester on the rad will show you.

Pull the head off and have it checked to flatness and cracks. 

 

New gasket and stud time.

My head gasket literally blew right below the tstat housing......

The circled area is the leak right above is where the head aND block come together.

Did you have any coolant mixing with or anything

This is the front part of my head gasket when I redid mine, wasn't leaking or anything but after 348,000 miles I figured it was time to replace it. It was literally falling apart and I have no idea what that sand like substance on the top right was, but It's a good thing I replaced it. Probably the same thing for you, failing at the coolant passage port.

Yes it did. However I know of others that did not. Pressure tester on the rad will show you.
