  • still not sure if we are gonna make it.   It might be just me, if that is the case then I will be fly without a camper, just me and a pack of redbull.

  • pro tip of the day.   Before you call yourself stupid 20 times because your lights aren't working again......replace your bulbs with new ones....  guess I had 2 bad bulbs that would work on

Is that what the floor looked like when you got it?

  • Author

nope,

When I moved the wall back I wanted to add a support under the floor for the spot where the wall got moved to.  That requred me cut the floor out,  which I wanted to replace anyways for good measures.

Took time this morning to cut out the rusted back cross beam.   I welded in a piece of metal that was left over from the saddle rack we dont use anymore.

I also welded in a 1.5" square tube for a floor support in the rear.

We are ready to replace the floor now.  next paycheck we will head to home depot and get some 2 x 6's.    I have some rewiring to do now to replace the wires I burnt up when welding haha

Pro Tip,  If you are gonna use different size boards that came out, make sure you measure ot make sure they will fit without having to rip...

I swore they were 2 x 6 to start, but they where 2 x 8.... oh well

That's better than too narrow. Ask me how I know. Haha

No different from the prior pictures yet

Horses should be happy...

We had a tragic event news story here.  Someone towing their horses down the road, the floor gave way and horses basically erased their legs before someone got drivers attention and he could stop.

  • Author

yea I have heard those types of stories,  Half the reason why I redid the floor.

Roof got rubber coating paint.  Still waiting on one more roll of ethrenabond tape the. We will finish the roof and it will be leak free.

Got 2 chairs and steps built,   we also built a counter for the stove and food prep.

Put in cheap flooring from home Depot.

Total about$350 to do all of it.  Still need to do walls but I am done until next payday.

Trailer needs a paint job matching the truck or at least cover up that rust.

Truck looks awesome but the old trailer behind it. Come on Nick you can make it look pretty can't you? :shifty:
