I was under the truck today for other reasons and turns out my slave cylinder is leaking! I know they're easy to replace, and relatively cheap at NAPA, but has anyone else had this happen?  Seems so strange for the slave to start leaking, but then again the truck is mad it's been sitting...

My master gave up many years ago and not knowing what I was getting into I just changed it out. It was a pain but it did work. Today if the master went out I would just pull out the whole assembly and change them both. If it was just the slave that is probably all I would change.

I got both of mine at Carquest, they were original mopar or a really good fake. Did them as one unit like Mike's video shows. Been working good so far.

Having worked for Advance Auto, Carquest's new owner, I'm gonna shy away from anything carquest haha.  Seen wayyyy to many failures.  And I can guarantee they're fakes. The reason I'm going Napa is that @TFaoro used Napa's set and he has had good luck with them.  He and I have similar clutches, so that's the main pull.

And I was planning on replacing the whole system @Mopar1973Man

i bought my aster from auto zone. It has lasted as long as the OEM. The slave I got from rock auto and has been on for 5 or 6 years now and still working fine. It has a bleeder screw on it also.

My Napa seems fine thus far (It outlasted South Bend's).

You do have to put the clutch in further to disengage  though. I'm not sure if it'll be the same for your transmission.

Did I read that right you are running a NAPA clutch?

I put my pedal to the floor on every shift, so that's a non-issue. Maybe a new set will help with the longer pedal travel before full engagement I've been seeing?

Napa hydraulics on a south bend dual disk for him. Hence why I'm going to copy him again
