Hey guys on my 99 24V when ever my tank gets to 1/4 tank my truck goes into a lim mode, truck will still tell me I have X amount of miles until empty. Won’t leave 1st gear or exceed 20MPH. I think it’s something todo with the sending unit but really not sure any help is greatly appreciated

I haven’t gotten an engine code since I’ve owned the truck. It does it every time I hit 1/4 tank

I don’t think so, 34 gallon tank and only takes 24 to fill it up.

Yes fill it up and truck runs good again shifts fine and runs like it should 

Do u have a draw straw? Also is it running like crap or idles revs normal

Fires up fine, idles fine and drives up to 15-20 mph then won’t leave 1st gear

I've seen one case where a transmission shop installed a voltage regulator for the transmission wrong. Instead of tapping the power wire they cut it to the PCM which caused all kinds of weird issues. I know modified transmission typically have either a resistor or a voltage regulator install for the governor pressure sensor.
