Is there a way to lower the psi on a Fass 150? I have 20 psi at idle and 18.5 WOT and would like to see 15 wot and 17 18 at idle. Iv heard of a different pressure spring? Link? Thanks

    those sound like decent numbers 20 is about as high as you can go with the vp. you could try removing the spring and clipping off a coil or two

    No no i didn’t even put 1k on them lol. I bought it used and he had the 20k on hem lol. My Fass sounds like a rock tumbler and supposedly new filters will make it run smooth like it should haha.

True but I might as well stick anew full length chunk in there.... less chance of air getting in.

Funny part is the push lock fittings for joining hose together is actually used in the AirDog kits because of the ready-made kit the hose is too long. AirDog supplies the coupler so you can cut the hose down short and join it together.

Well the straw is in but it is a bit sideways in the tank. I’m gonna keep a 5 gallon can of fuel in the truck and see how lo I can get on fuel until it starts sputtering...

Ok guys trucknis back together and running! So far no isssues. It has not idled like it was going before yet. Time will tell as I hav not had the tchance to run it a while and then let it sit for a while. So far so good. I do still have light surge but it a miss. Could that be due to larger injectors? It always idled smooth with the stock sticks

I would of taken it out and given a few good long WOT throttle runs to pull any air through the system. Just starting and idling will produces a hard start next round as the air collects again creates a hard start. 

I had drive mine after the injector line swap out, did not idle right till I did that and I idled it quite awhile.

Sorry I’m too late to this to contribute but I’d thought I’d share.  

 

I had my fass titanium put in yesyerday. The draw straw went up on the hump towards front of the tank. Coincidentally there is an already pre formed cut out spot. 

 

To get the correct draw straw depth the tank was supported on 2 barrels to simulate actually being in the truck in case there was sag in the tank. 

 

Draw straw is 2 quarters thickness off of bottom of tank per instructions. Scallops were then made in the bottom of straw Incase tank was pushed up against straw it would still get fuel. 

 

There was zero modification done to basket. 

 

Ready to go back in after brake line.

Side note to consider. 

 

The tank hides a lot a lot on the frame rail. 

 

The brake line was in baaaad shape. I mean dripping bad where it snaps in above stock fuel lines. 

 

Thankfully shop was able to make one up. Although that added a few hours on. 

 

I got lucky. 

 

Eta. Mine did not come with screen pre filter.  

 

Fass has some neat options regarding heating the fuel at the pump in cold temps. 

 

One is running coolant to it.  Downside coolant has to be warm. 

 

Second is a heater element that inserts to the coolant coolant port I think that’s thermostatically controlled. 

 

As as soon as truck fires it’s on.
