Currently got a superchips tuner on and BHAF... the elbow comes pre set to 30psi. I havent got any gauges installed yet but they have been ordered. Any advice??

I do have a gauge and a air dog 150.. am i likely to see any improvement in performance running these without the extra fueling

I'd check and make sure the superchips doesn't already boost fool.

It doesn't unfortunately but either way that shouldnt affect the operation as the wastegate will still open at factory set 20psi shouldnt it?? The elbow is what would physically up the boost the fooler just stops the truck throwing a code and defueling

I think you should be fine putting in elbow and fooler, I just don't think you'll gain a whole lot with stock injectors and no canbus/wiretap tuning. But I can't say for sure as I've never ran my truck that way. When I bought it it had 75hp injectors and the frozen shut wastegate, I guess that's kind of similar to what you going to do. I don't think you're going to hurt anything, as long as you stay at or below 30psi for now until you get your egts gauge. Make sure you don't drop below 14psi on fuel at wot.

But yes with boost elbow you should be able increase boost past 20 and fooler should keep cel's from setting.

@Dieselfuture nice one.. yeah i dont want to hurt nothing.. i dont know if the superchips 3705 is just timing or with fueling etc.. i will fit it up even if it gains a couple of pounds every little helps ??

Hopefully soon I can get an adrenaline. Iv been running 75s with a fooler and elbow for to long. Don’t get me wrong it’s got some pretty good power but it’s got a fair amount of lag as well.

Wouldn’t that still be a tad cheaper than a Edge W Attitude?

It does but i hate having to pay the taxes on it ?

You may have already found this answer...but the SC does boost fool.

I run one with a 75hp injector and an hx35 with no adjustments to increase boost very high...i can easily hit and sustain 32 psi

@Stormin08 hmm i guess i will verify when i get some gauges. As from what i found online it says they dont boost fool. So i could just take the fooler off and leave the elbow??

In the normal sense of boost fool...it does not. I believe it is more of a raising of the boost defuel settings....

Even with the SC alone, seeing well over 22 psi was easy.

I dont think running the fooler would hurt, but probably not needed.

For the 50-100 bucks i spent on it, i couldnt be happier. It adds the right amount of driveability, gets superb mileage of driven right and corrects for tire size

I see close to 23 on mice drives, and roughly 17.5 around town (mostly about 45 mph)

@Stormin08 its been on this truck for years but got some 60hp sticks waiting to go in.. ive noticed it boosts more with the elbow and the fooler makes its smoke slightly more when getting on boost.. but the SC i find is good for what i want. When my new gauges arrive i will fit the sticks hopefully there is a nice improvement
