I am getting a 0-60 boost gauge. Is the below location a good location to put my boost gauge feed? Or is the boost bolt a better setup?

  • That’s the spot Mike prefers, hence why he took a pic of it! Lol   I put mine in the same spot just to avoid the boost bolt up top getting in the way or cracking or somethin.

    That hollow bolt is just risky either break the bolt torquing or the tubing get broke every time you pull the valve cover or injector lines.

I put mine in the same spot just to avoid the boost bolt up top getting in the way or cracking or somethin.

I made a boost bolt for mine long before I knew of the above location. If I'd have to do it again I'd do like above.

I have the boost bolt a d though I have never pulled it loose it is still in the way and will be relocated as in the picture sometime in the future.

My boost bolt broke off when I was changing injectors so I drilled and tapped a hole in the back side of intake horn since I had it removed already.
