Looking for a high horsepower tune for the truck in my signature. The truck is not a daily and the tune will only be used for dyno events

Do you have older V1 tuning or Newer v2 tuning?

I have the new v2 tuning sorry I should of cleared that up. I did look at the repository just looking to try some more high tunes as well

If fueling and timing are maxed up top then you have a "high hp tune". 

 

Peak power doesn't change much only under the curve and drivablity.

@Me78569 this is what I have right now what exactly can I tweak for maximum power? Sorry new to the quadzilla and I'm trying to figure it out before a dyno event would really like to break 500hp with my mods

We are going to need to see your timing curve as well.  One thing of note, is your cruise settings seem to be maxed out, and in my experience leads to poor cruising characteristics (i.e. lots of throttle to move, and excessive fuel consumption)

I'm not very worried to much about cruising as the truck is more a play truck that hardly leaves the garage

Gotta bring those timing numbers up.  My pickup likes 16, 19, 23, 27, 30. Another big key is to pull timing to help the turbo spool.  The settings I use are 5* of reduction at 75% scaling, and it brings heavy torque down low.  Be careful with that single disk clutch.

Okay I changed some things around how this look compared to before? I copied your timing numbers till I can give it a run

Well with 1/8 of wiretap available off the line, I'm not sure you'll notice the low end anyways!  Top end will still be there.

I'll give this tune a run hopefully tomorrow morning and give you an update. Thanks for all the input I think I'm starting to understand

I'm at the point where my dual disk slipped for the first time the other day and I had to dial it back a touch.  So I got gun shy real quick about lots of low-end fuel.

I had to back down for efficiency reasons. 15, 18, 21, 25, 27...  I notice with this the smoke level changed and was reduced. Still tears the tires loose in 3rd and 4th gear getting on the I-84. Watch the smoke if the smoke is on the top end then you most likely getting too advanced. If the smoke is down low you might need to add more timing.

Even with 5* at 50% is a pretty good pull of power too. Dips the timing on a pretty good amount of retard and the boost builds quick enough the tires break free. This gives you 2.5* of retard. @trreed settings give 3.75* of retard.

I also have two larger turbines to spool to your one. That’s the main reason I pull so much timing.

What kind of clutch? Organic or ceramic? Or half and half?

Run of the mill South Bend 3250 dual disk. Now what I forgot is if it was the half and half unit or all one material. If I had to guess, it’s the organic/ceramic unit.

No.  Only modifications to engine hard parts I have are head studs and valve springs.  Nothing else has been touched.
