Hey all. Im new here but have been on Cummins Forum and all that.  I took off my Edge Juice w/ Attitude and installed my quadzilla last night and was able to take for a spin today.

Truck has no power going down freeway or anything, I can from 20% throttle to 100% and the truck will not move.  Struggles up hills and I have never seen the boost gauge move. I think I have a data log from drive home so I will attach it. I also threw a code but when I do the ignition check it is p1693.  The last thing is that my fuel pressure goes from 26 to 5 and anywhere in between no matter what. Also did this with the edge but it never turned out to be an issue and haven't got around to see if fass has any answers or not.

Would be great to fix this today somehow. Thanks for the help!

  • Sounds like your map sensor is bunk.     If you only ever see 0 psi then you either haven't hooked up the wiring right or the sensor is trash.   The edge defaults to 10 psi if the

  • Mine actually turned out to be the sensor. I bought a Standard Motor brand from Orielly's for $100. The other parts houses wanted near $200 for them. I thought Cummins was near that price too. I also

  • the dbrIII doesn't have to be used, just read the article and test with a multimeter.   Check the map setting inside the box for a late year truck

if you want boost to be higher than ~18 psi you need to.  The stock wastegate is opening at or around 18psi.

Hey guys, I'm just switched from hy35 to hx35 and I can't seem to build more than 14 lbs of boost according to the iquad, analog boost gauge says more around 16 or 17 but I had no problem getting 21psi from my hy35.... Anyone else have this kind of issue?

i just put a plug in the turbo housing and rely on tuning or defuel settings if all else fails. I don't like the boost elbow, I may do a turn buckle some day. At this point I really have no use of the waste gate. Just use common since when plugging it off.

You didn't do the P0237 testing, did you? This is not a Quadzilla fault but a wiring fault.

Did you buy the quadzilla new?

when you clear codes and drive around do you get any codes that come back?

Are you %100 sure you plugged the map wiring in correctly?

Never updated this thread but I sent my unit back to Quadzilla and they sent me a new unit.  Ended being something wrong with the boost circuit.  Works like a charm now.  Sorry for all the trouble! Gotta figure out these custom tunes now. :D
