@Dynamic This one is seeking your advice. I can't afford one of your valve bodies or a converter right now so its time for a shift kit. Transmission was rebuilt to factory specs by Cottman Transmission about 25,000 miles ago, before i bought it. Works fine, no slipping or other issues. I use it for a daily driver with occasional hauling/towing, max load of 10,000lbs. I have installed Sonnax accumulator piston, second gear super servo, billet band strut and anchor, Rostra transducer & OD/TC solenoids, Borg Warner pressure solenoid, LPW deep pan, and adjusted bands and TV cable. I do not like how these transmissions shift. To me they shift too soft. I like a trans that shifts firm to hard. In my toys i always run a manual reverse valve body or a trans brake. I don't want a manual VB in the truck but i would like much firmer shifts. What shift kit and/or other mods would you recommend? Please keep in mind funds are limited. Can't do a VB or converter at this time. Trying to stick with pan off stuff. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

                                                          W/O throttle  4-3 shift  150 PSI  

                                                          100% throttle 4th gear TCC locked @ 70 MPH 160 PSI

                                                          0% throttle 3ed or 4th gear TCC locked down hill slowing 100PSI

                                                          reverse gear stall test 330 PSI

This transmission is putting power down that was wasted with a stock build.  I now have the power to the tires to brake them loose or tow my 5er with the boat behind it up an 8 mile 6% grade at 65 MPH with throttle to spare.

That looks to be a list of parts I could do with, I doubt I could jump on a trans done then shipped as the damn shipping and customs would be huge also the core charge is a killer but the parts I could do

Curious about the governor relief circuit and why kevlar bands in this tranny 

I don't use kevlar bands in anything.

 

I put a pressure relief valve in the governor circuit to protect the transducer from high line pressure.

 

 

That's what I thought.  Your build sheet has kevlar bands listed .

Yes, they do have kevlar fibers in the weave, but the Pro Series is a high-energy woven carbon style band. It's not what is typically referred to as a "kevlar" band. That's where I was confused. Either way, they're a great band! LOL!!
