Ive done the Wiring Mod and that cured my surging issue for 6months. 3months ago I had to park the truck since the HydroBooster went out and ive had bad experiences with part store boosters. So I ordered one from mopar that took forever. I finally got it going again today and it started surging immediately I tried doing a apps reset with no luck. I went ahead and ordered all new cables, terminal ends, and batteries to try to remedy it. Is there anything else I should try while im at it?

So you have new batteries?

Check the wire grounds under the driver's side battery.  You might have to pull the battery and battery tray to get to them.  

I haven't got them in yet still waiting for everything to get delivered

Also Don't do as I did and just give them a quick visual and "oh they are fine"  one wire in the middle of the bunch had just one strand of copper left, 3 days after the "quick visual" I took the terminal off and found the bad wire

As far as I know they are sort of under the battery but, more in front really. Don't have to remove the drivers battery..... With double extensions you can get to the one down low on the inner flat part of the fender. A lot of times well hidden by wires over the top, it is an important one to find and service. Don't just stop at 'looks good and tight', you need to take them off and do the sanding/ cleaning and checking the factory terminal weather crimped correctly holding the wire ends.

 

The other one is up a bit higher screwed in on a vertical surface on the side toward the fender. You can reach it by going in through the front between the trans cooler and the headlight. May help to say it at belly button height down in the cavity in front of the battery

Personally I like solder ends this seals out the salt and the wires are more or less welded to the ring terminal.
