I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 4x4 5spd. I started having a dead pedal and surging issue a few days ago. OBD reader shows low voltage to TPS. I used mikes diagram and made it to step 9 and I had continuity with the PCM and ECM orange and dark blue wire. It’s saying repair short to ground in the orange and blue wire. I checked all of the grounds to the ECM and PCM but I’m not sure where to check for the orange and blue grounding. I would appreciate any help that you guys can offer. I’m not a very good mechanic and no one in my area can even get
Personally I would recommend getting a timbo apps, doing a WT mod and checking alternator for AC noise. More than likely it will resolve your issues and prevent others.
