Excuse me I've lost weight... I'm down to 205 lbs now... I was 235 lbs last winter...

All good. Even fat people gotta eat... :lmao2::lmao:

Unlimited??? :wow: Free??? :stuned:

Ummm... No. I hardly doubt that... I've got to buy a firewood permit to even cut wood $20 bucks for 4 cords. As for my old firewood hole I'm going to have to turn my back on it. Even though there is a ton of standing dead trees I'm getting tired of the so-so wood. This last batch seem to be more punk in it. So with the new forest fires that burned its time to investigate the new burned areas for new firewood sources.

I'll say it again.............I wish I had such "relatively" easy access to abundant firewood!!! Around here, I couldn't even get a wheelbarrow of split wood for $20!!!!!:duh:That's why I'm always scoping for trees down near me that I may be able to scrounge free (minus fuel and my labor of course:doh:).It is work to procure and process; but I actually find it relaxing in a way. In another way of thinking, it's money in the bank once it's CSS (cut, split, stacked).:smart: You're not paying to keep yourself warm...........you've already paid for it!!!!:smart:This fall/winter, I'm hoping to be able to scrounge up at least 1/2 of what I did in this past winter, spring and summer. I figure I'm about 1 year ahead on wood now. It's been pretty mild around here, so I've hardly made a dent in my stacks.Probably justed jinxed myself there!!!:smart::duh:

He might be onto something. In the first pic we see the work force waiting on the supervisor. In the second pic we see the workforce doing 3 logs at a time. In the 3rd pic we see the supervisor supervising. In the 4th pic we see the supervisor ready to work but the workforce already busted it out. Same scenario with any crew in america :lmao: But I did notice mike was thinner...I think dorkweed has his monitor on one of this disproportionate resolutions lol. Keep up the good work moparmom! I can just see her in the back chopping wood with fiery, "can't get that *CHOP* damn son of mine *CHOP* to do anything! *CCCHHOP*" :lmao: I had to say it. I can imagine her being able to do that so it crossed my mind lol.

:lmao::lmao2: MoparMom is still rolling around the floor laughing her tail off... as soon as she can quit laughing so hard she'll respond to your post. As for firewood... I'm still doing the splitting with 20 ton hydraulic splitter makes it easy. About 2 hours of work to fill the trailer. (1.5 cords) :wow:

Just looking quickly at the first picture while starting to scroll...............................with a the yellow leaves in back, it almost looks like a fire!!!!:hyper::ahhh:

ISX... Thats funny right there. Mike, it sure is pretty up there. I am on a mountain in the deserty part of W. Colorado now, spectacular, but not nearly as pretty as the forest you live in.

Ok Gang... I've got a video clip of MoparMom stacking firewood. Now before you press play on the video remember this is a TIME LAPSE video and you might want to put down you coffee cup or beverage before you do. Things might get rather messy for your computer. Also I was on the other side of the pile creating a second huge pile of firewood so I was out of the video mostly. Oh yeah that trailer holds 1.5 cords to the top of the boards.

Time laps my @$$. She was going just as fast as normal and you were going just as slow as normal.

Mike: Need any help?

Mom: Yeah stand right here, the sun is in my eyes.

Posted Image

Mom: Ok done.

Mike: Geez I just got comfortable, finish my pile while I take my other break.

:lmao:I had to do it.

Mike, I cannot believe you make MoparMom work so hard!!!

You should be thankful...........afterall, she birthed you, changed your diapers (still maybe??), wiped your nose and your butt......................and you make her work like that???!!!!

Shame on you!!! You should provide her with enough firewood so all she has to do is cook your meals and wash your clothes and mow the lawn and clean the houses!!!!!!!

This mornings load..

:doh::duh:

What's truely funny about your responses is that MoparMom wanted to help stack wood on the trailer and she requested to bring the camera out... I told her what I setup and she agreed. All she could do is laugh her rear off at the video. :lmao2::lmao:

Is that "fresh cut", and in your house???? Hard to tell from the picture.

If thats the case then its the smartest thing I've ever seen. Never could figure out why people wanted to freeze a few times a day to get more wood.

I'm lazy... Mine is stored on the other side of the wall from the stove. So open the garage door pick up a piece of wood walk maybe 3 steps and toss it in the stove. Ever 3-4 days I go out with the ATV and bring in a rack load and ready for 3-4 days again.

Lol, yeah I keep about a cord in my mud room. It was cut up today. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

... or wet firewood. :duh: But that's all I've got is a lot of wet firewood trying to dry under tarps in the yard.
