Dorkweed, they run the 200mph boats at lake of the ozarks every summer but you can't see anything without a boat and the last time I went they had cracked down on all the secret cliffs I had been finding. I would love to ride with one of them.

I found some more pics of it. It uses 2 props. It said these were after it got into some sand.

Yeah that's hard to top

Nice, but the guys that build these race boat motors are what counts.

That music has a nice beat but I love the smell of nitromethane in the morning!

arneson surface drives. high rpm low pitch propellers.

takes me back to when i was younger doing all of the reading up on the history of boat racing, back when they used the Merlin's and Allison engines out of aircraft instead of those big block v-8's they use now.

of course they also use turbine engines now but its nice to see that the smaller boats are still running piston engines.

Of course growing up on the water it was always fun going to AC and eating at the the deck and walking e and f docks and looking at the speed boats and knowing what their top speed could be by looking at their out drives.

I looked at their schedule and found out in june they are racing 20 miles south of where I go fishing so I am gonna go see this 500ft roost for myself

I posted the same link a while back. Not that I care; as it's good to see again!!!!! :thumb1:IMHO, he needs to change the lyrics of his song. Johnson and Evinrude are owned by the same parent company. He should substitute Yamaha, Suzuki, and/or Mercury for Evinrude in his song. She's welcome in my boat with my 50HP Evinrude anytime!! Long shaft also!!:lmao2::lmao:

That would be fun but this is more my style,

I'm with you on this.. Seeing ISX's video post, then your post... Reminds me of the "Old bull, young bull" story my dad (RIP) used to tell me all the time, growing up.. :thumb1:
