Heat exchanger
Yeah, up here in Idaho, we see upwards of -20℉. Automatics up here are rather rare, and manuals are more typical. The guys here are right that you should consider keeping the factory transmission fluid cooler or replacing it with a more modern transmission cooler in its place. The factory cooler has issues with rusting and leaks over time.

Christmas Holiday Blues / Happy Birthday Titanium
A lot of you don't understand why the makeup. I'll admit I fell apart last night; it's Christmas / New Year's again. Both of my bladder cancers came for Christmas. What most people don't get is the fact that what I love to do is out of my reach. Let's roll back the clock and understand that as a kid at the 14 years old I was gifted a socket set (Craftsman) and fell in love with mechanical things. I was building go-karts and mini-bikes with friends. I was fixing lawn mowers and small single-cylinder engines. Then, at the age of 16, I got my Dad's 1973 Dodge Charger SE as my first car. Hence, my nickname came from my first car. Now fast forward to 2002 and buying my first Diesel truck and dove in with both feet into a world I've never done and became an" internationally known diesel mechanic". Now, for 2018 and 2023 Christmas was a lonely and frightening trip to a hospital, and a fight for my life. It's been rather tough to figure out where I'm going from here since my shop is nothing more than a frozen dirt pile today. I have some basic tools to keep things going here, but still missing a lot of tools and equipment. As much as I want to be that diesel mechanic, I can't because of health issues stemming from my kidneys, left side is 82%, and my right is 17% remaining. In this condition a infection would kill me, so I can't really be out and covered in grease and dirt. I can't lift more than 40 pounds because of a hernia risk with my stoma. I want to continue doing what I love, but at the same time, it's nearly impossible to jump into doing major work in Thor to just build articles. It's just too cold and getting difficult for me handle long-term cold without heat and an enclosed shop. Then another realization, Titanium has a birthday and is officially 2 years old. Yes, this means I've been doing daily makeup work for 2 years now and taking my art to the streets. My makeup work was my way of dealing with depression and trying to do something that brought happiness back, while doing something that was very scary at the time, dealing with chemotherapy treatments and the possibility of death. Titanium is my way of finding some enjoyment in my day, as I can't just go down to the shop and fix another problem with a truck, to build a website article is gone. I have to be thankful for the fact that I created the Titanium character to keep me going during a very tough time. Happy Birthday, Titanium!

Understanding stock Quadzilla
I typically drive on level 3. I'm not fond of many of the tunes I've seen, as they tend to ramp up aggressive amounts of fuel way too early and try to push the power out. My tuning aspect is more built around daily drivers, milder fuel curves, and main power is up above the 10 PSI or 15 PSI realm, nothing below that.

@Tractorman Those o-rings are square cut and you would need to order from Cummins for replacement. Might be a good idea.

Sorry to hear that. Kind of like myself my mechanic part has to come to end. Lower back is trashed. The ostomy bag is limiting. My knowledge is all there. Just need the body. Hang in there.

OMG! Are you ever going to finish that thing up? Where are the false fuel tanks going? Pretty blue! Blue is my favorite color... Actually fixing my choker collar.

I believe you're experiencing a suction side air leak. Double-check the suction line side fittings, make sure they are snug and clean in the fittings. Let me know what type of hardware you're using. The other part could be that you have a return line leak? Like, possibly a crossover o-ring issue or maybe injector o-ting. Sounds weird, but I've done a head gasket after the head came back, cleaned the baked injector o-rings would weep air in, allowing the system to drain, making a hard start. I've see nthis with crossover tube o-rings as well. Make sure to double-check the return tee in the rear of the engine; it might be weeping air into the system while parked.

Makeup artistry
I just received a call from a guy, and I repaired his truck about 6 years ago. His son was driving the truck and lost power, or thought maybe there was a transmission problem. When I was done listening to the truck issues, I notified the owner of my changed appearance and why I'm not capable of turning wrenches. I don't mind being the technical advisor for Cummins projects. The body might not work right, but my mind is stuffed full of knowledge on many different topics. If you're having issues with your truck, I'm more than willing to be there and watch and guide a person through the repairs of their truck. No different than what I do here on the website, just do it in person. I will show up at a client's house in makeup and hair. I'm not going to change...

I've hauled quite a few heavy loads here locally. Then there is a old member here that was hauling boats cross country upwards of 30,000 pounds behind a 2001 Dodge Cummins @cajflynn but these trucks can do quite a bit as long as the towed weight is balanced correctly. Just consider @JAG1 has a pretty heavy slide in camper on the bed of his truck.

Now, to speak up on another fact. Just because I've changed my appearance with makeup and hair, it typically doesn't make me less knowledgeable. My typical day is that if I'm planning on going to town, I'll always do my makeup work before I leave. I was referred by a local repair shop in McCall (Sharlies Auto Repair) to a Cummins owner for tuning his Quadzilla. Even on a day like that, I was dressed up and rolled to this client's house to chat with him about tuning and getting his truck ready for a trip. This shocked my client that seen the makeup and dress code. But after talking to him for a short while and built a quick base tune to roll to Oregon for the holidays. He's totally sold on my abilities to diagnose and fix anything Dodge Cummins. When this client shows back up after the holidays, I'll be guiding him and his roommate on how to repair both of their trucks. I might not be able to turn the wrenches, but I can give guidance to people on how to fix their trucks. Wound up going into Riggins for a few odds and ends groceries. I stopped by the deli counter for a chicken strip to munch on for the ride home. The gal working behind the counter was fixed on my face. After getting my chicken strip, she said, "I really do love the makeup you did on your eyes!" Quite fascinating doing the makeup work I do, and the many comments and even people to come up and just ask, "Why? What's your story?" I can break out a quick tale of my cancer and move forward. Just totally awesome to be me and add the style of Victorian Goth with my jacket.

Mopar1973Man's Weather
This last summer, after the landslide, I lost my weather station. Just up and died one day. I replaced my older weather head with all modern equipment. I purchased an Acurite Atlas weather station. It includes WiFi ability to allow the data to be sent to the app on my cellphone. I was looking for a way to share this data soon, which I'm going to publish on Weather Underground, so my local friends and locals can see up the canyon from Riggins or down the canyon from New Meadows. I'm also looking into the Linux version of the software for data capture of weather data. There are a few software out there that can read the data stream from the weather head directly. Currently, how the weather head is mounted and set up. I'm about 2 to 3 feet above the ridge of the roof. Better wind data now. The head is solar powered and USB Type-C rechargeable if needed. I want to be able to study past weather trends to verify the actual Global Warming or Climate change BS. The other problem we have is that the closest radar from the south is Boise, ID, and then the closest radar from the north is Lewiston, ID. When you visit any other weather site like NOAA.gov or any weather apps, the weather data is calculated for us here at an elevation of 2860 feet above sea level. Even looking at the MyRadar app on Android, there is a blank spot over us where we are actively watching it rain here hard, and there is NOTHING on any radar showing this storm. Like right now, we are looking at nighttime temperatures down to +17℉. It was really a pain to plan trips and travel for food and supplies, not understand the current weather in this dead zone from New Meadows to Grangeville roughly.

New Kicker Speakers for Beast!
Heck. My wife likes it loud when we travel. Crank up the music for some songs and sing for miles. Then, after awhile the conversation chokes the music out. @Tweety Bird is more of a 70s and 80's fan. I'm more of a popular fan. Truth is, no matter what, we have to travel some serious distances just for supplies. Might as well have Beast in good repair right now being the winter weather is holding up shop work.

Titanium Live on TikTok
Today I was stuck inside the house being its raining here in Idaho. While the mornings are cold here, I was checking back on a few videos near Christmas time. Sadly, I saw a few artists who were having a rough start to getting the Goth/Emo/Alt makeup. Either being laughed at or just treated poorly by people on the streets or at school. I'm going on 3 years of makeup artistry that I've self-taught. @Tweety Bird asked me to get the new weather station set up and working. I needed a 4x4x12 to get it up above the roof line for now. As I was rolling into New Meadows, I was still thinking about the videos I've seen and wanted to speak out for these new makeup artists. I got over to C&M Lumber and purchased a nice 4x4x12 pressure-treated, low-knot. I left C&M lumber and drove across Highway 55 and up this side road just a bit, and stopped in the road and broke out the phone. Tried to make a video but naw sounded dorky. Packed up and left. Got up the highway on 95 heading home had another thought and pulled over. Tried again. Just couldn't get the thought right. Drove on for home. Found a spot just before I drop out of cell range and fired up the camera again and created this video... https://www.tiktok.com/@titaniumgoth/video/7586810780318846221 What I've learned is that it doesn't matter what you do in life. Be happy doing what you do! Like for me, I didn't want the depression and BS because I can't work on Cummins trucks as a wrench job any longer. Yeah, I have trouble doing simple tasks because this ostomy bag is on my belly. I'm still alive and still have all my knowledge of these trucks. Still going to do what I enjoy tinker in my spare time when the weather is good. In the meantime, I'm enjoying "Titanium". I've been growing on TikTok with 600+ followers. I've impressed quite a few people with my makeup artistry. I still do daily makeup when I leave the house. So I want to show these artists that you can do it! First thing is to learn how to "Own That Look". @Tweety Bird is going to start popping up in the photos too, as she enjoys the colored hair and being colorful too. I'm going to start looking for a period of time to go Live very soon. OH! Just so you all know, if you click (or tap) on the banner photo, it will open up to full size too.

Titanium
My adventure of having a second run at bladder cancer and going back and forth to chemo treatments and surgeries. "Titanium" the character, kept me going and helped me with depression and stress of the idea I might not make it. I've made several new friends and found a new way to enjoy life as I continue to dress up and do my Titanium makeup. I'm always taking my adventure out into the public and share my artwork with everyone!
