ABS Sensor
Found it! Disconnected ground. Somebody was playing tricks on me. Thanks for all your input everyone.

ABS Sensor
Installed other front ABS sensor and the dash light comes and goes. I only took it for a 10 mile or so drive, not going faster than 45 mph. Bad connection? Give it time?

Injectors and Turbo upgrade
Stock like spool, so little lag and smoke and good for normal driving. It supports more than 425 hp, realistically 500 on the top end, which is a number I don't intend to exceed with my truck. I don't sled pull or race, so I don't need the extra flow on the top. Allows possibility of twins down the road, if I ever decide to seek 500 or 600 hp. And, as a last resort, (I've played this game before and lost, surging w/my WH1C), HTT or a local machine shop can machine the compressor housing for a 60 or 62 wheel. The biggest thing is it gives me something to dream about and then I get to work on my truck and gain power and efficiency without compromising economy or driveability. That's my rationalization. I know some of the members here have run super bs, maybe they'll chime in.

75hp injectors what size phatshaft?
I did mighty diesel head bolts about 4,000 miles ago with no head leakage to date. Pulled one at a time, replaced with new bolt and torqued to spec, a higher spec than stock. But, I haven't pushed my truck hard in a while and haven't hauled anything since the install. I was planning on doing a write up after I get my super b and consistently run 40+ psi just to make sure there are no issues. If you have a good head/block and gasket to begin with, and a proper install, it can be done.

Injectors and Turbo upgrade
Ask me in 2 months after I get my super b ...as long as nothing else breaks on my truck. 60s are good, and mileage improves a little bit with normal driving habits. Although, I always wonder about 100s, what if? They just sound that much better. Is your tranny built to support the power? FYI, right now my billet single disc is slipping and I have to upgrade to a triple disc converter. That's with +60hp injectors, edge comp and a slightly modified stock turbo. Like Mulcher said, a programmer or box will do more for you right now. I did injectors first which gave a nice little bump in everything, then a timing box a couple months later and it tied all my mods together and that was biggest seat of the pants gain. In short, an edge comp or smarty for $600 or $700, vs a turbo (at least $1100) and injectors (at least $400).

Ohh, thanks Michael. Learn something new everyday

ABS Sensor
Why? Speed mis-match? The part from RockAuto was Wells/Airetx, but the package had a mopar sticker on it, so it was a factory part. Why would it read different?

ABS Sensor
My local shop used their $10,000 snap on reader to and told me that's what it was, I think they checked for voltage too because the harness was disconnected when I got my truck back. I just checked, no codes from my reader or dash trick.

ABS Sensor
Well, replaced driver's side sensor/harness, checked fuses, and put over 100 miles on her since the install and the ABS/Brake light is still on. Is there a brake in period?

brake problems?
No ceramic. I don't even like them running empty. I had a full cord of wood in the back and I went to stop at a red light and just kept going, once they heat up they don't stop.

Injector Rattle?
Took the old gal out for a drive today, turned the comp off, and she didn't rattle at lows rpms. Turned the comp back on and she rattled. Only tested a couple times but it appears Michael is correct again. Hopefully this week i'll do some highway driving and retest a couple more times just to make sure it's the combination of low boost and over advanced timing that's giving me injector rattle.

Vibration and Front end parts id
My torque converter is slipping and it shakes the whole truck. It gives a little shudder on shifts then in 3rd lock and 4th lock you can feel it catch and slip. Also, my sway bar end links were loose at the bushings, same with my shocks and it lead to cupping tires and a small vibration.

ABS Sensor
Well, I'l buy one for now and see what happens... Thanks guys

ABS Sensor
My driver's side ABS sensor is bad and I'm going to replace it next week but, I seem to remember Michael saying you need to replace both front sensors at the same time or the ECM won't recognize it. Replace just the broken one or both?...they're $50 a piece.

Tow Mirrors
I have that problem on the driver's side too. It actually bumps the door panel out and prevents a good window seal. You can get it around the switch if you get all the nuts started and don't tighten them up till the end, after you dry fit the door panel a bunch of times and get the right position. I have yet to do it, but I read about cutting one of the studs down, I think it's the lower left one.

Injector Rattle?
Over advanced timing=greater pressure change? Greater pressure=injector rattle? Turbo doesn't light till about 1600 rpm or so, therefore little or no boost, with the advanced timing from the Comp=injector rattle. I'll have to run the truck with the Comp off and see if it still abnormally pings. Thanks guys and Michael! I'll report back later!

47re, how long will it last?
Not sure if my tranny was original or not, but at around 215,000 miles, the front band was worn to the rivets. The clutches were still good, wave plates were good, stock style TC and valve body were functioning but I could slip the converter with injectors and Edge EZ. My plan was just to replace the TC and VB but after seeing the band and stock style plastic servo/accumulator, it was time for a rebuild...I want a 5/6 speed.

Injector Rattle?
Less than 20k, I just put them in last year. Idle and everything else is smooth and good.

Injector Rattle?
I just read an article on a 6.4 powerstroke that was making valve/piston contact at low rpms with higher power and I got spooked. Yes I'm running 2 cycle. Comp is set at 5x3, most timing and fuel at setting 5 but not till 10lbs of boost? The pinging only happens when I'm on the throttle a good amount under 1600 rpms. If I accelerate normally under 1600 rpms it doesn't make the pinging sound. Fuel/pressure related?

02 3500 dually Power steering fluid dripping off brake push rod inside truck
Mine did that last summer and I was running ATF at the time. I flushed the system and switched to power steering fluid and it hasn't leaked since...just my experience. Then, if you run PS fluid you lose the flow properties in the winter time.

Injector Rattle?
Do the 24Vs have injector rattle? And under what circumstances does it occur? I'm getting a really loud pinging and panging, like a metal on metal sound, in low rpms when on the throttle. It happens from 3rd to the 3rd lock-up and 3rd to 4th. Right after the shift, the rpms drop to 1300 or 1400 and it starts pinging, but as soon as I get past 1600 or so rpm I don't hear it anymore. My fear is pistons hitting the valves, and NO, I haven't done valve lash yet. Any ideas?

'stand yer ground' or 'flee'. geez
Whoops, taken the wrong way. I worked union too for a little but for the local municipal department. Two different groups/references. I was referring to the unemployed in CT and to state unions(not private), like the highway dept. and local municipalities who get their money from tax dollars. This isn't going to come out right either way typing like this, you can PM me and we can talk on the phone if you really want to. Anyways, my point was that both groups get paid via government, so for the most part both groups vote for who is going to give them the most, the liberals. And in CT, who imposed strict guns laws? The liberals. That was a generalization. My definition of unemployed people in CT are people collecting and NOT actively seeking employment.

'stand yer ground' or 'flee'. geez
Try living in the Northeast, liberal capitol of the US. I just got a new job and moved from Connecticut to Ohio, thank god! In CT, if someone enters your house by law you have to evade the situation and jump out the window, up to 2 stories. Any public mention of guns and you're considered a bad/careless/evil person because of the Sandyhook tragedy, besides, why would you need a gun, the world is perfect. The main demographic in CT is wealthy liberals from the insurance industry(old money) and big/inner city liberals(no money). There is a small group of conservatives but it's hard to get anywhere when the area is highly unionized and a growing number of people are on some sort of government assistance...my political vent. I invite you guys to research the wonderful works of CT's current mayor and senator, I would name names but this topic is open to all viewers.
