These are looking like they might be a good investment for fuel economy. My question is what all gauges work? it says that you can get all these extra gauges with the xgauge software but that some are vehicle specific and the website doesnt say what gauges to what vehicle. So if anyone has ran this on an 04 or similar im curious now.

Ok thanks I will have to look into it more I just wasnt sure if the transmission as is would do much since it would only slow speed as long as the tc was locked

Id like to put an exhaust brake on my 04 but it has an automatic transmission. I know on the 06s that they can come factory to accept a jacobs brake because the ecm keeps line pressure higher or something like that. So heres my question I have already wired up a tc lock up switch when I get an aftermarket tc and a valve body is this enough to handle an exhaust brake? Or should I just invest in say like a bd or ats transmission that says that it will accept an exhaust brake

I just started running 2 stroke oil in my 04 and im excited to see the results. So far im about 40 miles above where I am usually with out the oil.

The boost elbow that came with my edge at first glance looked like a regular brass elbow too but when you look closer it has a smaller hole drilled into it which takes more pressure to open the wastegate

I stocked up on the premium blue they had it at the napa near me for 9.99 a gal. I couldnt pass it up so I bought a couple cases!

I run Vavoline premium blue 15-40

I used to use this stuff in dakota with a 318 and there was a noticible gain in mpg. When I got my 04 cummins I tried it in it a couple times but I didnt see the gain like I did when I used it in gas.

ok thats what I thought but I didnt know if stock to them was their own program with some kind of timing. I have been running the even numbered programs but if I set my edge to stock can I then use the odd numbered probrams and basicly use the edge as gauges?

Hi everyone just had a little question on the juice. When you have it on the stock setting does that in fact mean stock and its not adding any timing? I would like to play around with my smarty more but I dont want the timing involved from the edge. And if anyone else is doing this stack id like to know what levels your running and what has worked best for you.

finally got around to installing the gauge a few weeks ago. Everything went good with no leaks:thumb1: even installed a drain plug in the transmission pan so no more messy fluid changes.

would putting a t in the line with the sending unit in it block the flow in any way?

Hi everyone just looking for opinions on where to install the sending unit for my tranny temp gauge. I have heard a few different places and just wanted your two cents on where to put it to get the best reading.

Hello everyone, awhile back I bought some edge jammer nozzles and havnt done anything with them yet because im pretty sure that when I am to install them that I will have to set the pop off pressure. Can anyone tell me how or if I can to this on my own or if I have to pay someone to do it.

thanks for all the info. I do have a smarty and it does make a huge difference I just didnt know if there was anything else that could be done to reverse the detune.

Ya I was thinking it was probally the ECM I just didnt know if there was anything else since its 235 hp instead of 250 or 305

I was wanting to know if there was anyone out there that had any info on an 04 cummins thats a california spec. I would like to know whats done to it to consider it to be detuned, thanks!!

Hey everyone its been awhile since ive been on here. I was just thinking about putting an amsoil oil filter kit on my 04 2500 and was wondering if anybody else out there has one and if its worth it. Thanks for the input!!
