Steering column gauge mount?
no pic but i have one with my trans temp in it. It work fine but it is not the speedo you need to worry about, its when the E-Brake light that is on, you cannot see it. So what i am going to do is splice a buzzer in so it will warn me. I thought i would always catch the e brake before hand but i have gone several miles before seeing the light on.

Trans Trouble
Last night while going down highway going 70 - 75 my truck started to skip / surge. Watching the tach it would jump a bit 200 - 300 rpm, and felt like the trans was slipping or maybe the TC was. Any ideas on what it could be. A solenoid?

new dash?
I have a 02 and when I bought it the old owner had just put a heater core in it. THe dash did not have any cracks at all:). Then about two years later there was three cracks from the screw holes at the windshield to the edge of the dash. The cracks seemed to get bigger and stated to climb over one another. So i was tring to even the crack up by tapping on the high side, BUT it broke and now I have a hole big enough I can put my hand through it:banghead:. Want to do my dash also and don't want to put this plastic stuff back on.

Short Bed Air Dog Bracket
Mikes setup is without the quick connects on the pump. You will need to change your hoses out for another style thats you can use 90 degree at all 3 ports. Call Eric at Vulcan Performance, i had to yesterday for the same reason, he will get you set up with the right stuff, Don't forget to get the splice for the fuel psi gauge.

Short Bed Air Dog Bracket
What I did for a bracket was a friend of my Dads had one for a FASS (free:hyper:) and it mount the Airdog between the transfer case and fuel tank, had to drill 2 holes in it and grind gusset a bit. Now what you have to watch for when ordering your hoses is make sure you get all 90 degree fittings at the pump. if you get the "Quick connect" style you will not have enough room to hook fittings up w/ the bracket arangment. Eric at Vulcan Performance is making mine up today. He said he would trade for the ones I already have, just had to pay freight.

Ultrasonic Pest Control
Ultrasonic stuff will only work for so long, the rodents will get bold enough where it wont scare them anymore. Maybe if you turned it off for awhile then turn it back on it might work, but it is going to depend on their population. It is cold and they are looking for a warmer area. Snap Trap (Victor) with a little rubber band to hold the PECAN on wil work fine. Put the trigger end of the trap towards the wall, edge of whatever they are in so they will run into it always works best for me. Use as many as you need, at tires, Door jams. Always do your exclusion work with steel wool (courser the better) and expanding foam mixed together. This is what i do besides putting bait in child and pet proof containers on the property as far away from house as possible to get them there not at your door.

Short Bed Air Dog Bracket
Well I called Airdog today and they do not have a bracket for a '02 short bed Ram:(. I really want to put the Airdog 150 by the transfer case, not in the path of wheel debre from being outside on the frame. Does anyone know where one is or have any specs on one that they use/built? I think if someone wanted to make a few of them there is plenty of people that would buy them.

When do you buy a new starter ?
The contacts are more Meaty or heavy duty. They should hold up better OEM. To spin stater faster you need more AMPS, until you fry your starter.

Help no fuel to filter
You can see at the begining of this thread that I was upgrading the truck with gauges. Then when I was done doing that the fuel pump went out. Changed it for the airtex and work fine. But now I was want to make it better w/ a big line kit. Thinking that as soon as the airtex takes a dump I would have to go with the airtex again with the new upgraded big line kit. So lets do the math, Airtex pump ar $180+ each, big line kit is $116. With the purchase of 2 pump and kit I am at $476 w/ another problem pump. Now for $577 I will have a lifetime pump (Airdog 150) w/ the bigline and be done with it.:spend:Stop chasing good money after bad!!! --- Update to the previous post... Mopar1973man do you have any pic of your bracket setup for the airdog? Looks like you mounted it on the side!

Help no fuel to filter
Mopar1973 Man, I have seen pic of your air dog setup, what did you do for the Bracket to mount where it you did. I what to do mine simular. Is that the bracket you recevied w/ kit? My truck is a short bed too and i guess that there isn't enough straight / level frame area to mount like a long bed model.

Help no fuel to filter
Vulcan performance does'nt sale the airtex anymore. Said they stop working after a little dirt gets in them:stuned:. Airtex said to use a pre-filter finer than he can source from anyone. Airtex doesn't even have it. Anyone else have had this problem. Suggested the Raptor kit ,$365. How long has anyone have a Airtex last? mine is almost a year old and 8,000 on it.

GlowShift Fuel Pressure Gauge Problem??!!
I have the same gauge, did you use a "Snubber Valve"? It goes on the fuel line before the sending unit. http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/1-8npt-diesel-snubber-valve-for-fuel-pressure.aspx http://www.glowshift.com/instructions/7-Color-Series/GS-711-Fuel-Pressure-Gauge.pdf Read this and it will show you what i mean. Also i have my 3rd sending unit on mine since Dec. The problem was it had been shaking it to death at the vp44, moved it away with a hose up to the firewall and have not had any trouble since last Spring. The gauge would start to show a higher psi than was really was until it was at 30. i use a mech. oil psi gauge to check each sender out. When i bought the gauges they ask if i had one!
