  1. Consistently getting worse.... And now I've got two crossover tubes leaking near the head. I think it's time for a new set!
  2. TST doesn't do any timing... it's just a fueling box, so no. and thanks!
  3. Boost elbow and you should be just fine. Control EGTs with your right foot.
  4. All runs were made in 5th gear. It was funny to see the dyno operator's face when I flipped the TST on for the second run He whipped around "DID YOU CHANGE SOMETHING??" As you can see the smarty held up pretty well all the way to 2750 or maybe a little higher. The TST holds strong all the way past 3K though. With the smarty I was right around 35psi of boost. With the Comp my wastegate opened up at 45psi and egts hit 1300 or a little higher.

Exergy 100hp over tips on original bodies (@170k miles) Industrial 85% over cp3 South bend dual disk, stock 5600, phatshaft 62/65/14 over an s475/96/1.32, second gen 3 piece manifold, 5in straight pipe exhaust, fass 150 titannium, fass sump with draw straw, UDC tuned by me, custom traction bars, and I think that's it.

Smarty on 7 TST off: 372.66hp 801.88 Torque Smarty on 7 TST on 9: Run 1: 499.80hp 1032.17 Torque Run 2: 502.39hp 1038.48 Torque I'll upload the graphs asap, but the smarty did NOT fall on it's face. I was rather impressed! EDIT: Oh and the CR made 724.xx hp and 12xx torque... Guess I'm not too bad at tuning haha
  7. s480!? How much power are you trying to make? You do know a 75 will flow more air that a vp can supply right?

  9. Mulcher you should have tried it without the smarty... Would have been interesting to see! 550-600 you'll probably need a 64mm and that's laggy. Go twins!

  13. Only thing I'd be scared of is pinion angle if you use 4wd a lot.
  14. I've got the Luke's link on the track bar and the steering brace (Which was on it when I bought it) And my steering is tight?? I'd say it's as good as the 05
  15. I tow with this thing so a single isn't even an option for me. Plus I dropped a good chunk of change on my phatshaft. Plans are for an s475 underneath, water meth, studs, springs, pushrods, and a built 5 speed. We'll see where that gets me. I'll do a 4th and a 5th run if I get a chance!
  16. I'm scared that if the torque comes on too early (With the cold weather I see 10+ psi of boost at 1300rpm) It'll either blow the clutch off or snap the input on the trans. Thanks for the advice too!

  18. I won't run it in 5th. 4th gear only for me. I believe we can drive if we want... I mean it's a manual so it can't be too hard! Drop the hammer when they say go! Wild this one is next door to ATS. 10 days is the ATS dyno event.
  19. Sounds like you guys want me to break it!! Only thing I'm scared of breaking is the input shaft to my trans. My brother's 05 well it has a bit more done: 62/65/14 over s475/96/1.32 Exergy 100hp injectors, Industrial 85% over cp3, arp 425s, 03 intercooler (Blew op the stocker), SB DD clutch, nv5600 trans, 110lb valve springs, UDC tuned by me.... It should lay down some pretty nice numbers! You guys have any guesses for it??
  20. Hopefully all goes as planned! But if my brother manages to blow something up on his CR then I won't do any runs with the TST. Can't break both trucks in one day

  22. TST does not do timing so I will be running odd numbers at all times on the smarty! Think that low with the injectors and turbo?? I know I'm at altitude but I can blow away tuned CRs Nope.... Figured what the heck if it's something bad enough it'll fly apart on the dyno and I'll know the problem It'll be nice to see where the smarty falls flat on it's face. I was thinking leaving the smarty alone between smarty only and smarty TST runs just to see the difference in graphs. Although you'd be surprised... I pull hard up to 37 psi on the smarty only.
  23. I should be hopping on the dyno this weekend (As long as my brother doesn't blow up his 05 first) Couple of questions: Anyone have any thoughts on which level for a smarty only run? Any thoughts on which level for a smarty + TST run? And for the fun part! Guessing Give your guess for: Smarty only and smarty + TST My sig is up to date!
  24. Like me78569 said, the switch is very useful! I woke up this morning to 12 degrees and it had my truck at 100 in no time. I also set it to high idle when I run into the convenience store, and it continues to warm the engine up. Oh and I think I gained minimum of 1mpg during the winter with the MPG feature.
