  1. Went home for some therapy this weekend. Nothing like sitting in a swather to clear your mind
  2. http://www.ravelco.com/index.html
  3. Let's keep the anti-theft ideas OUT of public view guys.
  4. It was in an apartment parking lot. There are quite a few cars in it every night and it's pretty well lit. Even if it's painted they aren't going to get the bedliner off the rockers. That would be very noticeable, along with the rims, tires, bumper, mirrors, traction bars, big @ss hook hitch, etc.
  5. I did have insurance, but they aren't going to give me the 30K I've got into the truck. Still working with them on that. I was home, but I sleep like a rock. Like cops and ambulances show up with the lights on and the horns blaring and I don't wake up (Room mate told me about that one) Now I can't hardly sleep. Every little creak wakes me up haha O well, that'll pass. Like I've said before, I'm hoping for the best while expecting the worst. As my dad told me today: "FK it Tyler, it's just money. We'll build a more powerful monster this time."
  6. Thank you gentlemen. This really is the best forum on the internet! A big thanks to @Mopar1973Man and @Me78569 for keeping this place running. I'm also offering up a $1000 reward for any information that leads me to my truck. I WANT IT BACK
  7. Thank you for contacting him. The more eyes in the area the better. To those who live in the city (let me note I absolutely hate the city and am only here for school) do yourself a favor and get an alarm system along with another way or two to disable the truck.
  8. Thank you to all of you for keeping your eyes peeled and searching Craigslist. I've been searching Craigslist myself and haven't found anything. Now that I have another car I will be driving around as much as possible to try and find it. For those curious, the criminals that stole it managed to pry on the rear window until the latch that holds the window closed broke the window. Funny thing, the window was still mostly intact, and and they left the window behind. Crime scene investigators were able to pull fingerprints and DNA from the from the window, so I have a bit of hope there. Again, thank you to all. Not only is this a massive financial loss, but the truck has irreplaceable sentimental value to me. My dad and I have done almost everything on it together, and this is hitting him pretty hard as well. I'll let everyone know if something turns up.
  9. @Mopar1973Man please put this up top for me. If you think it should be somewhere else, go ahead and move it. My truck was stolen last night in lakewood. I'm sure most of you know what it looks like, but here's a couple pictures. One of the passenger windows was busted out to gain access, but I have no idea how they got it running. Thank you
  10. For anything but racing that turbo is going to suck.... it'll smoke like a dog until you can get on top of it, and by then it might be too late to keep egts in check. I would guess towing would be near impossible, especially if it's heavy.
  11. That'll make a large single even harder to spool. Twins are your best option. Are there any reasons you're opposed to them?
  12. Can you? Yes, but the specs of the turbo will determine what RPM it will spool at. I wouldn't expect you to like the spool of a turbo that would keep your temps in check though. You're probably talking 2000+ rpm before you start to see some power. If your converter isn't setup for a large single that'll make it worse yet.
  13. No arguing here, just seeing where and how information was gathered. More air needed either way!
  14. I've never heard of someone being able to identify injectors off of a serial number. Most are just Bosch nozzles that have been honed larger, rendering the numbers useless without actually measuring the flow rate or hole count and size. Usually 7x.013 are classified as 300s
  15. How did they gather you have 7x.013 already? If that's the case you should be able to push 1300+ deg on stock tuning. Not sure how they would know what ddp has though. Can you tow at all how it is?
  16. I'll likely be through on Friday or Saturday
  17. he has no idea! To me, it is a whole new world
  18. That'll provide plenty of fuel, but how are you going to burn it?
  19. If I remember correctly, the auto dimming mirror is part of the harness. Another plug and play. Are there cab lights on the 99?
  20. Try some different settings on the MVP?? Just a thought... I wonder if anyone else has the same rattle like you....
  21. Because it looks good and functions well for what it is. I don't see why you're so against it... 2 to 4 hours of time on a weekend to have a nice functioning overhead console sounds pretty good to me. Like you said nothing else is going to fit there, and his current one is broke.
  22. You have a lot of research to do.... There's no way you're going to push anywhere near 600 on a "modified" 63mm turbo. 7x.012 will match the vp44's capability to flow fuel. I went with 7x.013 to make sure I got every drop out of the vp, but I don't think it netted me any power. That said, even when mine is warm idling I can smell the raw fuel coming out the pipe, and in the right light it hazes a bit. Step up to 7x.014 or 7x.016 and it'll be horrible to drive anywhere. Maybe you won't mind, but others will. Do lots of research on what you want, but I don't think you'll want that big of injectors.
  23. Incorrect. The harness for the overhead display plugs in under the dash. It's not a hard harness to swap, just annoying.
  24. You don't have to pull it all down, just the front. Remove both visors and the little clip that keeps them in place, overhead console, both A pillars, and the weather stripping. Takes all of 10 minutes.
