  1. ECM starting to die???? Just a guess though.
  2. I have never driven a new 2nd gen, but I bet they weren't perfectly tight from the factory!
  3. These are the ones you linked.... Says 5100 in two spots.... It's all a game of marketing! The 5100 is a 5100. Maybe I'll give them a call tomorrow and see!
  4. I believe those are the same ones... I don't think bilstein makes a "specific" one for the dodge, but I can't seem to find a part number on their site.
  5. They didn't want another hole in the firewall... Ran it by the AC / heater hoses. At least that's my guess! You should be able to literally take the line out and hold it over by the ABS module. At least that's what I did.
  6. You should be able to pop the line off and pull it out. I can't get my big head in there either! I think it'll run some things, but it just depends on how big the break is.
  7. Mostly because all of the reading I've done on it. Many people say it makes it harder to shift during winter because it's a straight weight oil, unlike the 75w90. Because I take the truck snowmobiling a lot I really need to be able to shift with I70 traffic (It's miserable!) The Amsoil is also a GL4 rated fluid, which is what's supposed to be in there. I'll also have a temp sensor in the PTO cooler, so we'll see if it's running in the right temperature range. If the transmission has a ton of gear rollover or is hard to shift I may look into the Mobil 50w I've heard good and bad about the bilstein.... some say too rough, some say excellent! It's just the price that sucks.... I can get the Rancho for under 50 each (buddy works at a parts store)
  8. Ordered a set of fast coolers and some Amsoil for the G56 http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/transmission-fluid/manual/manual-transmission-and-transaxle-gear-lube-75w-90/?page=%2fstorefront%2fmtg.aspx... Ugh, 8 quarts of fluid! I should be able to have the temp sensor installed now. Also got a buddy to buy the extra cooler, so that didn't hurt as bad. Hopefully buying shocks pretty soon as well. They're getting tired at 208K! Not sure if I'll go with Rancho or Billstein...
  9. @Me78569.... wanna take those two videos and post em on the CF thread for me?
  10. There is a reason to have the box cranked when you have an edge....Gives the best fuel mileage.
  11. Is it leaking vacuum? Suck on it and see if it's holding like it's supposed to
  12. Probably not built quit as well as others.... just like the overpriced DDP injectors. I'd go 50-75hp and roll on in your case!
  13. Turbo technology has come a LONG ways since the 90's... you can run a larger charger with the same spool, it's just a matter of selecting the right one
  14. My dad and I just replaced the injectors in his 96 with 5x0.011's from DAP. His originals were starting to miss in the morning when it was below 70F. His had gas run through them though.... He is VERY impressed with them!! Very clean with just a little bit of pump work and it looks like mileage is up. He wants to increase the timing a bit now and see how it does.
  15. That sounds like exactly what I'd do. Drill and replace with bolts. I think I'd use nylon locknuts or thread deforming locknuts through. I wouldn't want any chance for them to come loose!
  16. 1. I'd say normal.... Manuals are more efficient. 2. I'd say normal... you're using less power to move. Sharper because engine is loading harder when you do hit the throttle. 3. Weird.... 4. Normal 5. Normal when seeing #1 and #2. I bet you're enjoying rowing your own gears!
  17. Sorry to derail, BUT @Me78569 or @Mopar1973Man can you fix my profile? Seems I no longer have access to BOD, can't send PMs (too many) etc. Please let me know guys
  18. Both pulls I was going up a slight hill (same hill) I let off and let the boost hit zero, then went straight to 100% Starting mph was 55 in 6th gear.
  19. I guess it just depends on how much you can get out of the dang thing. Sounds like I did a decent job getting it all out!
  20. I've never heard of them cracking, and I've loaded them down / bounced over rocks etc. I think they look good too!
  21. Drove the truck back and forth the last two days after filling up. 220 miles or so.... about 65% highway and 35% city on a very hilly route. Managed to get 20.93mpg. That's the best I've gotten with these injectors, and it's only 2mpg less than my best with the 125s (23mpg). The new tuning is working nicely
  22. Here's everything that's on them. The numbers don't come up with much when I search them. Simple green Now they need some polish! Probably do that after the tires are mounted up. Nope, Taiwan.
  23. Entitlement, safe spaces, I want I want I want. My generation is a bunch of lazy, dishonest, entitled turds. I'm so tired of seeing the spoiled kids running around in mommy and daddy's vehicles, beating the crap out of them, and spending their parents money on weed. It's rare to find someone in my generation who is actually willing to work hard to EARN money. Personally, I've been very lucky and I know it. My parents have helped (did not pay for all) me get through a very expensive college, BUT I pay for my transportation (fuel, insurance, repairs, etc.), food, part of my apartment rent, and part of my tuition costs. I've paid for it in multiple ways. I used to farm over the summers, but droughts in the area halted that for a couple years. Instead of sitting on my @$$ I got a job sweeping parking lots, painting buildings, and digging ditches for a chain of gas stations. I was just glad to be earning money! I saw kids from school that would come by and say "I would never do that!" well work is work and money is money. I refuse to live off of my parents hard work. The last couple years I've had internships that pay very well, and it makes me appreciate the harder work I've done before. Heck I'm still farming after my job almost every day. It doesn't pay as well as sitting behind a desk, but honestly I really enjoy farming. Hopefully my generation will wake up and raise their kids properly.... doubtful, but we can dream right?
  24. Took a picture.... forgot to post it. I'll get it up after work
