  1. Well I finally got the truck aligned properly yesterday The steering wheel is pretty darn straight too I went to a different Tuffy Auto up in Land O Lakes, and when he put it on the Alignment Rack and looked at the screen .... All that came out was a "OH BOY " and a sigh... I said to the guy he made a lot of work for you didn't he?? He lowered his head and said YES Anyway, Yabba is now walking a straight line and the steering wheel is straight
  2. Could also be because I just finished the Ball Joints on Yabba All 4, even though the only one that was bad was the drivers side lower. I know the guy did the passenger side Just before I bought it in October, but he had installed the driveworks brand and I wanted the Moog Problem Solvers. The boots were already shot on the passenger side anyway. I will post pics later, headed out to aa Drum Circle right now!!! :hyper:
  3. Thanks Tom, Now I'm hungry for potato chips
  4. I know I can buy mine cheaper from the looks of it
  5. HexOrz My truck is a 1997 and I don't think there are any controllers like you have for your truck... Or, at least as far as I know
  6. I will be sending the BD injectors back and I will be getting some from DAP. I may even get the 60hp what do you guys think?? Price wise the 60hp are the same as the BD 40's
  7. I would however, a friend bought them for me on his Summitracing card so that I could just make payments vs having to lay out all the cash at once... Remember I just had the heads done on the Lincoln and 6 brand spanky new shoes for Yabba So, 6mo interest free makes it the only choice right now
  8. The VCO's are the ones I wanted... But 2x they have sent me the 4 hole 60hp. I wanted to get the new Injectors installed over a week ago, but they have now screwed up 2x
  9. Ok, the good news is the replacement injectors got here today But, the bad news is they sent the same 60 hp SAC injectors they sent before They said they would be sending the original 40hp VCO nozzles and a hoodie for my troubles... Yeah, 60hp smoky SAC nozzles vs the 40hp VCO clean burning... Or at least so I hear Should I keep the 4 hole 60hp SAC injectors??? And if so why? The guy at BD is the one who said they would smoke all the time I do not like any of my vehicles to smoke and would like to have clean burning power with better MPG's. All opinions welcome Please
  10. Haven't done that in years....
  11. Very good Ilikeoldfords.. The Hankooks on the back (came with the truck when I bought it) wore faster than the Firestone TransForce in the front. So, I went with the TransForce... They looked the same as when I bought the truck 10,000 miles ago. the Back were almost bald and they all looked the same when I bought the truck in October. I still kinda wished I went with the Kumho's...
  12. That is why I bought a 97 Most of the time there is a method to my madness!!! (most of the time... not all of the time .. heheehe)
  13. They are on their way, but won't be here till the 19th
  14. Thank you, but I don't want to smoke all the time Otherwise, I would have kept the 60hp's They went back today and a set of 40's are on the way!!
  15. If you want tread I do Love my Kumho Road Venture AT's that I have on Scooby!! I went with the Firestone TransForce HT on Yabba because I really don't take him off road like I do Scooby... I have had the Kumho's on Scooby for three years and they still look brand new even though I drive a lot + 2 trips to VA and back along with all the mileage and off roading I do when I am there!!!
  16. No, I am not getting this one... Wish I could, it would be a nice addition to the fleet http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Ram-3500-5-9L-12-VALVE-CUMMINS-LOW-MILES-1-OWNER-RUST-FREE-1993-dodge-ram-350-dually-5-9-l-12-/221459940281?forcerrptr=true&hash=item33900a83b9&item=221459940281&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
  17. Just got off the phone with BD and they are 60hp SAC nozzles. He said they produce a ton of smoke soooooo, I will be returning those and getting the 40hp VOC...
  18. How many holes are in the stock injectors? I thought the stock ones had 5 and I just got some BD 40hp injectors part #1040275 and they only have 4 holes in the nozzle I was under the impression that it would have more holes for better atomization... As I was looking online to see if I could find any specs on the BD injectors I stumbled upon some injectors on Diesel Power Products... http://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/p-7530-dodge-12-valve-fuel-injectors-9070-hp.aspx more power then the ones I bought and 1/2 the price... Has any one used DPP injectors and if so what where the results?
  19. I know this is an old thread however it looks like the place to ask this question...How many holes are in the stock injectors? I thought the stock ones had 5 and I just got some BD 40hp injectors part #1040275 and they only have 4 holes in the nozzle I was under the impression that it would have more holes for better atomization...
  20. Looks like you guys a had a great time!! I can hardly wait to take my rig out and get away for a weekend
  21. Mine is the 5th wheel version and same layout as yours Diesel I should be working on it right now but I slipped a disk in my lower back on Friday
  22. They are 235/85/16 They are the same size that came off the truck...
  23. I will double check for sure Mike!!!
  24. Why, thank you Green River I wasn't there quite that long.. However I was almost late in teaching my class... They do seem to ride nice and as far as I can tell the shimmy is no longer there @ 50-55 (only got up to that speed briefly due to traffic) I think I may get 1/2 " spacers and I think that should do the trick
  25. Thank you Wild and Free I knew something wasn't right when I typed that last night... LOL I slipped a disk in my back yesterday and with the pain, my brain is mush... Or, I could just blame it on a blonde moment And I agree it is a gimmick, but this place doesn't charge extra for it anyway... Anyone have some used spacers to sell?? I think I will be needing at least 1/2"-1" spacers...
