Haven't finished yet, but got the wheel well lights installed this weekend as well as the side markers. I still need one more set of Back up lights directly behind the truck. The side lenses were in place but no wiring was present... So I upgraded to the LED's

Lack of power
Will do... Also going to change the fuel filter...Who knows when the last owner did that important service... I will tackle that this weekend... Found out today that I have a hairline crack in my tail housing that will be replaced tomorrow... Upside.. I bartered a 12 pack of beer for a mount and balance for my spare

Lack of power
I am going to pull the solenoid off this weekend. It shut down 4 x today. So I believe it was definitely a fluke with the battery cable. Did however make sure cables on both batteries were tight. I did try adjusting the length of the shaft after talking to Larry B at http://www.fostertruck.com/ but it still died 2x after.. :banghead:

Windshield mirror fell off.
I will say without a doubt Gorilla Glue super glue works the best!!! Recently I used the "rear view mirror glue" on my Lincoln and that failed in less than a day:banghead: However, applied the Gorilla Glue and it worked so well that when my friend was getting in the car and he bumped his head on the rear view mirror it held so well that it took a chunk of windshield with it when it fell off...And yes the windshield cracked from top to bottom:doh: But that Gorilla Glue WILL HOLD your rearview mirror in place..

Lack of power
Ok, I have one... Anyone have an idea why my truck randomly stalled last night? Gave it a few moments and it started back up ran great the rest of the night.... Did notice when I left the house and crossed the intersection it didn't seem to have the oomph ) it normally does. Normally (in the short timed I have had the truck) you give it a little fuel and he runs like a scalded dog... after the restart it was better but not perfect, but after we got where we were going and the truck sat for a couple of hours, he was himself again on the drive home... Any suggestions???

Well "Guys" I think I am up to whatever you throw at me:cool: I am here to learn... Oh, and DorkWeed you must need new glasses I have been turning a wrench on a car since I was 3 ( Dad started me out changing spark plugs on our Cadillac... granted he would loosen them for me and make sure they were tight after I was finished but hey, I was only 3) But this is my first diesel that I will be working on, so I will be asking a lot of questions:) Thank you for the warm welcome though

Just wanted to post a word of Thanks!!! I just purchased a 1997 Ram 3500 12v Cummins that had what the previous owner and I thought to be a shutoff solenoid problem. Well with the help of ISX and Larry B @ http://www.fostertruck.com/ found that it was just the relay and the fusible link wiring that was the problem and not the solenoid Just bought the Truck Aka "Yabba Doo" (yes, I am goofy and name all my vehicles:wink:) on Monday evening... Fixed by Wednesday morning!!!! Thank You!!!!!- TOOL Definitions
That was funny:lol: - Just want to say Thank you!!!
