Which air bags for 2010 Dodge 1500?
I use Air Lift http://www.airliftcompany.com/shop/57215/ on my 1994 Ram 1500. They have been on there for 12 years and have been the main reason my 1500 was able to tow my Beast of a horse trailer with 3 horses and equipment. I do pump them up to 80# when towing that trailer:) But now that I have YabbaDoo it is his job to pull that Beast:cool: I will be buying the Air Lift for Yabba at the first of the year but will prob only put 20# or less in the bags.

A clever RV rain gutter...
Block sealer works well, one of my Uncles Neighbors put it on his rig 3 yrs ago and hasn't leaked since... http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/productImages/300/21/21c027c2-5d5d-4cca-80da-6090fa206b38_300.jpg 90.00 for 5 gal Description: Seal-Krete Heavy Duty Waterproofer is a water-based 25% solids, acrylic formula designed to stop water penetration into low density or porous vertical concrete and masonry services such as split-face or fluted concrete block. Seal-Krete Waterproofer provides a tough, flexible, breathable, film which prepares these surfaces for painting. It's also excellent for binding chalky surfaces on painted or bare vertical substrates including concrete blocks, tilt-ups, stucco, and aluminum siding. Added to paint, Seal-Krete Heavy Duty Waterproofer improves speed rate, increases coverage and extends paint life." Ok that made me almost spit out my coffee:lmao: Thank you for that laugh:lmao:

What excuse do I have?
I have the lumbar support in the 3500, used to have it in the 1500 but when I changed the seats the new seats didn't have the lumbar support.. It does make a difference... My lower back is messed up and I can slip a disk just by moving the wrong way.... Just Drove 11 hours straight and my back didn't feel too bad, the shoulder on the other hand was on FIRE!!!!

Hello all, Since I purchased my truck( YabbaDoo) a little over a month ago I have done several tweaks and maintenance items. Starting with a Relay for the FSS, Speed Sensor, Belt and Tensioner, Oil/fuel/transmission fluid/filter changes and Installed back up lights in the rear wheel wells, by the back hitch and also installed driving lights that can change color in the front We went exploring several days to favorite places and to new favorite places. to get to some remote places to hike with the dogs. For a big truck the turning radius is pretty sweet. The dogs and I had a fantastic time camping and can't wait to do it again next year!! I also brought my hitch cargo carrier (can’t tell you how many times I cursed it for being in the way) so that I could bring some Virginia rocks back home for my garden and a Fire pit. I did have to zip tie the FSS for the trip home, but all and all we had a fabulous trip and plan to do many more with YabbaDoo!!!!

Cranking but wont start, just replaced heater core...
I live in Florida and I bought the truck with a bad HC... Really in no rush to fix it either:cool: After all, the HC in my GMC has been bad for about 16 years and I seem to do fine without it in Florida... The only thing that is mandatory for Florida would be the A/C:thumb1: Even while on vacation up here in Virginia I seem to be doing fine without the HC... I have a from Harbor Freight that keeps the windows from fogging up..

Changed the Harmonic Balancer!!
So that I could get 92ft# of torque I wrapped an old serpentine belt around the new Fluidampr and clamped it with a pair of vice grips so the motor wouldn't spin :thumb1:Push one way Pull the other... Worked like a charm

Engine Stalling
Your welcome... Hope it helps... My first thought was the FSS but since you said it was good my second thought was what happened with my 94 a couple years back... I use an OBD2 reader for my 97...
-
Engine Stalling
This may not be it, but thought it was worth mentioning...Sounds like a similar issue I had with my 94 a couple years back when the Crank position sensor crapped out on me ... Is your truck throwing any codes?

Repacked the FrontWheel bearings
Just to clarify, I was talking about my power steering fluid being factory... I do coolant flushes every couple years
-
Repacked the FrontWheel bearings
The engine coolant looks good and clean and if I have time I might change the power steering fluid.. Never thought of changing that before... My other truck has 269,000 now and it probably is fluid from the factory....
-
Repacked the FrontWheel bearings
Glad mine is the simple fix:wink: I watched some videos on the unit bearing assembly and was glad I didn't have to do that!!! Did see a video were the took one of those apart repacked it then put it back together That certainly looks like a pain!!!

Repacked the FrontWheel bearings
Well, repacked the bearings on the front of Yabba Doo... Almost ready for the road trip!!!! Since buying the truck almost a month ago, I have done all of the normal maintenance such as fuel filter, (air filter was brand new) transmission service, Oil and Filter (Amsoil), Belt and tensioner and now have packed the bearings:hyper: Plus installed several pretty lights (I'm a girl and I think they are pretty and very functional of course ) ,speed sensor and a relay for the FSS. I am waiting on my new Fluidampr to get here Friday!!!! Then, Big boy will be all ready for the road trip and beyond:hyper::hyper:

Back Lights
Flagman... The lower lights in the back I bought at good ol' Walmart and the top lights in the back and the bumper lights in the front I bought at a flea market (at different flea markets) , and last but not least the reverse lights in the rear wheel wells from Harbor Freight they are very small and compact... I even have those on the front of my Lincoln:cool: Which by the way makes it look like I ran over a Smart car:lol:
-
Back Lights
Both sets on the back are manual. The only added lights that turn on with the reverse, are the ones under the wheel well:thumb1:

Back Lights
Nope... But when I travel and let the Black Dogs out to play, I like to be able to see them!!
