Hey everybody! HELP!!
With mine when I first bought the truck, I would have to turn the key in the on position and manually lift the solenoid then start the truck... The guy said he bought another one but the new one didn't work... S I started looking at what else it could be and found it was just the 70 relay 10.00 fix

Hey everybody! HELP!!
Hello, I just bought my 97 that had the Fuel Shut Off Solenoid issue... Lucky me it was only the relay:hyper: I also rewired the fusible link wire that comes off the battery due to the eyelet being corroded. Sounds like a nice truck all in all....

Nice job!!! You are lucky you have a splitter I did a pile that size 2 years ago for my Uncle the old fashioned way using a 16# Maul:thumb1: Great workout though:thumbup2: It doesn't get cold enough here to have a more than a couple of fires , so need in chopping all that wood:(

No Backup Lights
Just changed mine.. Neutral safety switch... Was only 12.00 at advance order online and use the code trt30 and save 30% - - - Updated - - - http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_neutral-safety-switch-bwd_20971212-p?searchTerm=neutral+safety+switch - - - Updated - - - You can check it by unplugging the plug from the sending unit, put a jump wire between the first and third terminal while the key is on and if it works replace the neutral safety switch, if not you have another problem... And don't forget to check the 15 amp fuse in the breaker box:thumb1:

03 High oil usage with blowby
Sounds like what I had going on with my GMC. Granted it is a 4 banger... However it ran perfect and still got 21mpg, didn't smoke but thought it was time to rebuild the engine after 453,743mi (had a slight knock) Turns out had a burnt piston... Thought I would mention it... I do know that Pasco Auto Salvage has a Cummins sitting waiting for a new home for about 1800.00
