Seats!
How about looking for seats in the bone yard??? I found Leather seats at the bone yard for my 1994 1500 for $50.00 in 2001 ... I replaced them about 2 years ago with the Dark Gray Cloth seats because the driver seat finally became too worn and even though I loved the leather with the dogs I found the Dark Gray for a good price. When I went to the bone yard the first time I was actually looking for the Dark Gray and got luck finding the Dark Gray Leather

About the Lincoln.....
The first set was mailed to me because it is not a Stocked item... I called the manager at the store just down the street from me and he had a set waiting for me this morning and yes, I opened the package at the counter They even switched out the lower intake gaskets with rubber ones from an intake only set as the ones that came in the head set were cork... Even the picture shows rubber for those... Anyway I was able to drop off the valve seals to the machine shop and they will be ready Monday They sure look Pretty

About the Lincoln.....
Well I sort of got the gasket kit for the Lincoln today... Well the gasket kit arrived today as expected however, even though the part # on the outside of the box was correct, the interior contents of the box were a mishmash of gaskets some of which had been used My heads have been ready since Tuesday and only waiting on the gasket set to arrive to give the machine shop the valve seals... Oh, and by the way.... this odd set of gaskets had 0 valve seals in the box Did I mention the part # on the box was Correct/// however, Not 1 gasket in the box was a gasket for my car Oh and it was factory sealed... Advance did step to the plate though... They are sending me a 45.00 gift card and my parts will be at the store 3 miles from me in the am

About the Lincoln.....
Let's just say one of my Mom's nick names was Little old Lady of Pasco County... I remember if we ever happened to pull up next to each other at a light we would always take off the line burning tires !!!! Mom in her Lincoln (she was in her 70's ) and me in either my little truck or my 74 Buick Apollo

So I cleaned and reinstalled a new screen on the Vent cover and reinstalled it with new carriage bolts and some custom made aluminum rectangle washers for added strength due to the cracks in the plastic... I also installed a new vent cap over the shower as well...

About the Lincoln.....
Ok.. So the heads are off... Nibishibi  What I thought was going to be a short and easy (HAHAHHAHAHAHA) job turned out to be an all day project.. turned out to be an all day flipping JOB!! Anyway, still want to strangle and torture the engineer that designed the engine compartment for fit and finish... Last I removed a head from a vehicle only took a half an hour... this took all day (granted the back isn't what it used to be with the tricky disk and all) But this truly sucked,, The front exhaust manifold was a pain in the arse to remove... Ok, enough with the ranting..on with the pictures... Guts on the ground... And the Problem.. And now she waits for the transplant...

So... I have a bit of a project..
The project of today....The Eternabond arrived, so I got up on the roof and I taped up the seams on the roof repair then got to work on the rear vent area... the tape or whatever it was around the vent looked like crap.. So I removed all the old crap and cleaned the area then applied the Eternabond..

My Oldest Turns 16 Today!
Today is my Oldest Baby Boy's Birthday today!!!! My boy Shorty turned 16 today I remember waiting till a little past midnight at the barn with his Momma waiting on him to show his cute little self Even though Fancy was showing like she was going to drop him at any moment, she was willing to wait to get a little privacy... I had to get up @ 4 the next morning and go to work at the track. I stop...ped in before work to see is he had been born. Well as I arrive all is quiet except for Fancy's usual nicker of hello At the time I was boarding at someone's private residence and I didn't want to turn on the barn lights and wake anyone so, I walked in the stall in the dark, took 2 steps and just about slipped on my keaster on his amniotic sac!!! Well I think I scared the crap out of my newborn baby boy e Jumped up bumped into his mother and then bounced off the wall... Only took him a second to calm himself and actually walked over At that moment he stole my heart He has been my Mane Man ever since Happy Birthday Big Boy!!! We had a nice Birthday evening with all his favorite goodies!!
