Well i changed the VP44 and it still is a ****** to start! Great fuel pressure still. The only things I didnt change in the fuel system is the line going from the fuel filter to the pump, the injectors themselves, and the original injection lines. I dont think if i spray soap on them they would show a air leak. What do you guys think? Im about ready to drive it in the pond. Its got to be a air leak, but where????

How much did you pay for your reman VP44 and where did you buy it? Ive been fighting this one duallie i have, that the wife owns, and Im going to have to break down and just buy one. Edcasey where in western Mass are you? Near Conway?

I looked it up and its stating It has no communication between ECM and injection pump module....Sooo what do I look for and how do I fix it? Any clue's guys, I dont want to live in the dog house!!

I faced the truck on our septic tank leech bed mound, nose down, and it still didnt start....Thisa is driving me nuts!!

Can someone who owns an 01, or similiar brake system, with hyro boost brakes tell me how I can bleed the ABS system. I have replaced my hydro boost and bled the the lines at the tiresbutg, they are still spongy. Is there some other place I should be bleeding the system from?? Thanks for the help!!!

Sounds like the IP. You didnt help it when you drove it 2 1/2 miles home, unfortunatly. The VP44 needs the volume of fuel to keep it cool. It Probably is a torn diaphram. By the way what is a hot unlock?

Parking the truck with the nose facing down hill, will do what?...I would have to jack the truck up in the rear cuz theres NO hills in Florida where Im at, only swamps!!

How would I know if I have a moog bar, size maybe?

My buddy asked me if i knew of a product that would help him, and his transmission have better performance. He is having problems with his truck burning out, and said there is some kind of load management system on our transmissions that doesnt allow us to rev up enough to light them up. I heard advertisemnts of top speed eliminators and a smarty doing something for the tranny, but i dont exactly know what they do for it. Does anybody got a clue on this subject. Thanks for the info!!!

Mopar how do I pressurize the fuel tank?? I dont visually see any leaks from the injectors on the head, nor anywhere else, that i can see. Also I read on your site i needed to adjust my valves@ 150k. Well I got to 01's with almost 290k on them and they never had them adjusted. Should I also adjust them, and what would it do for me after they are adjusted? Could the truck be giving me a fit do to injector fouling? Ive had these 110 injectors in the truck for 4-5 years. Can I clean them myself? Maybe soak them in Kerosene or something? Or do I have to tear them down. I figured if I do have to pull them again I will adjust the valves at the same time.:banghead:

Its been in the 50's here, to us its freezing! No error codes. It takes alittle bit to straighten out . I dont feel any power loss though. If i had to take the injectors out and have them tested i would have to do some research on where to bring them, where i wouldnt get ripped off. Alot of shady people around here.

I have an 01 Cummins and in the mornings down here in Florida when I start the truck up it idles rough and smokes for awhile. Any clues. Ive changed the cam sensor and filters. The fuel pressure guage says @ idle the truck has 17-18 psi. When i plug the motor in for the night and crank it the next morning the truck doesnt run rough, but without it , it runs rough??? I deleted the grid heater years ago but, this just started acting up. I dont think its because i dont have my grid heater in. Maybe the 110 BD injectors I put in the truck 4-5 years ago are clogged maybe?? how do you check them?? :ahhh:Got any clues?? Any info would be greatlly appreciatted!!!
