  1. Haha. Def. gonna watch that. The fuel couldn't have been gelled or anything. Cause she was running just fine. Amazing how well it ran without the lift pump.
  2. Its brand new. 3 or 4 months old. Only thing I can think off is the cold weather had something to do with it.
  3. Today in Massachusetts it -5 degrees. Went outside and started the truck. Let her warm up for 20 mins. Running like a champ. Fuel pressure reads 0 psi. Went through the diagnosis found the fass fuel pump fuse was blown. Replaced the fuse got my fuel pressure back. I couldn't believe how well the truck was running just off the injection pump. Without the fuel pressure gauge u would never know the difference. I would have been driving around with no lift pump, till it blew up the vp44. Wondering why the fass blew the fuse, thick fuel? Everyone needs a fuel pressure gauge with these trucks.
  4. Email next month before u order anything.
  5. I had a 01 ram gas. Did the same thing. It was the front shaft. I drove for awhile before i replace the whole shaft. U can take it out and move the joints around to see which one is seizing up.
  6. What year is the truck. I'm looked up a 2001. Try pulling fuse 13 for one min
  7. Push the button and cycle the key. Try it different ways. Some are different then others. Seeing how it's not doing anything. It may be disconnect some how. Possible the alarm horn has been taken out? But I'm sure u can make it stop blinking. Play with it. Hold button and cycle key. Somtimes starting the truck while doing this works. Or just the cycle of the key while holding button. Some are different then others. U can also try cycling the key it the door. Try both drivers and pass. Door. Just stick the key in and cycle back and forth. Some aftermarket alarms are disengage this way.
  8. Usually there is a little black button. somewhere with in the harness. Somtimes they mount it in the kick Panel. Somtimes it just zip tied up with the wiring. Cycle key while pushing button with shut the flashing light off. It's prob. An aftermarket alarm or keyless entry. Disconnecting. battery's. Def reset these. Ur lucky the truck started if it is an alarm. U can still disengage the alarm with the key and pushing the button if u don't have the remote.
  9. My radiator is leaking in the same place.
  10. I would Leave it outside to have the no start condition. Have dude crank the truck. And check every circuit at the vp. Find the missing power or ground or bus. Then trace that wire back to the module to see if the wire is good. If the wire is good and ur not getting ur power or ground. Module is bad.
  11. I've had no starts come in with the same problem. No start when cold. When it's gets in the shop, everything fine. I've put the PCM in the frezzer for a few hours and reinstall. To verify the bad module.
  12. No luck. No longer available. No dealers show. No vintage parts. It was offered only as the whole assembly.
  13. Got it. I'll check tomorrow
  14. Let me know if u can't fix the motor. Send me the last eight of ur vin number. I wanna see if it still available from mopar. Maybe I can help if u dont want to post ur vin on here you can text it to me.
  15. I was messing around on YouTube. Found an old master tech video. Updated cummins master tech. They showed the spring clamps. That how I got the idea to replace them. I Search the parts catalog till I found them.
  16. The boots are the same. I have a 1999 and wanted the spring clamps. I cross reference the part number with an high output 2002. The boot p\n stayed the same the clamps got upgraded to spring style. I had a boot slip off the hot side so just ordered the whole deal. The price was right, free. Haha. One of the perks working at a dodge dealer Alot of factory parts are no longer made or are vintage parts now. I got a bell housing (apps) It took 3 month to get here. Luckily nothing was wrong with the old one . I had one hiccup with the original apps sensor.
  17. If anyone would like to update their intercooler clamps to the spring style. I have all the mopar part numbers. I don't think they change the springs to this style until 2002. 6 Small clamps 52028980aa 2 large clamps 52028979aa 1 intercooler pipe 52027990aa 1 intercooler pipe 52027516ab 2 intake pipes 52027815ab
  18. What about getting the cubby hole gauge mount from genos. Then getting the gauge mount cap. The cap that covers empty gauge holes. Then drill into the cap and mount the switch there. I'm wondering how ridged the cap is. Is it soft or hard?
  19. Or behind one of the fitting for the lines?
  20. This is great. Thanks guys. So I just remove the 3 or 4 bolts holding the motor to the unit? The ball and spring is right there?
