  1. yes the slave clyinder is mounted to the bellhousing on the drivers side of the tranny it is held on with two 13 mm bolts/studs. and the bolt in the bellhousing i would agree with smokey that it is most likely a pressure plate bolt. for that the tranny will need to come back out.:banghead:
  2. that is all true i have the high idle box from prowelder and i have to take my truck down to dodge and have them enable the high idle software! also i would get a good lift pump i.e. fass air dog. and start up a 2 cycle diet that'll keep that vp goin strong!!!
  3. i personally have never ran bilsteins either but have installed many on offroad rock crawlers with remote resievors and they are very well built but for on the road driving i dont think they are worth the money. Rancho's are very good shocks and i have never had any issues with them wearing prematurely. but it has already been said that it is a personal choice. just my
  4. i keep my edge on 5x5 as well but i also have 125 horse injectors, my edge is away at edge right now and i think my truck is actually doing better mpg with out it
  5. i would run rancho 5000's they are great shocks and the price is reasonable, if you want to improve ride a little look it rancho 9000's but they are quite a bit higher priced
  6. wow thats awesome i would like to know how well that performs as well. power/mpg and the videos are awesome!!!
  7. ok so what i have seen out of my truck is about 13-14 mpg's with 315 tires, nv4500, edge juice, with 4.10's, now most of that is highway/city driving since i only live about 8 miles from work and its about 50 percent city but that is empty and it doesnt really change unless i am pouring the coals to it!!!
  8. i was told these were the guys to talk to in my area about building the 12v-24v engine that i am wanting
  9. well like i said i am running an airdog 100 and an edge juice and im very happy with both... the edge is pretty cool it monitors just about everything you could want and has plenty of safeties that as Mike said if set correctly are both an asset and insurance. so good luck and enjoy
  10. has anyone heard of or had any dealings with floor it diesel in lawerence, ks???
  11. i would go with an airdog or fass unit with a big line kit next before you go with a programmer between one of those and the 2 cycle that will keep the vp happy!!! and i dont know much about the factory fuel filter but from what i have been told it is a 10 micron filter and the airdog filters that i have are 2 micron which is way better filtration.
  12. i think the bolt that you bought will be fine the length shouldnt be a big deal and the strength of the bolt should still be sufficent. good luck
  13. ok so do you think the mpgs would get better running these as opposed to the 125s i have now
  14. what are the hp gains from these and would it benefit me to pull my 125's and install these. would i gain better mpg's with these compared to my current injectors???
  15. ah ha i thought the autos had the hy and the standards the hx thanks for the clarifaction
  16. i was wondering if a turbo off of a common rail would be a better turbo than the stock one im running now? white01 has the stock turbo off his 03 cr that had a six speed, just curious
