1. Yeah, was this horse put to pasture?also, something I was reading:[h=3]What is the Cleaning Capacity of a Frantz Oil Filter/Cleaner?[/h] Each single unit will clean up to 8 quarts of lubricating oil (This can be up to 10 quarts with more frequent element changes). Two single Frantz Oil Cleaner/Filters may be installed in a "parallel" sequence to provide sufficient cleaning capability for those engines with a crankcase capacity exceeding 8 quarts and up to 20 quarts.
2. cool deal. can you get a close-up of the texture?
3. I would not use window sealant, personally. If you had to remove one for whatever reason, youd be screwed. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

6. Tom, For some reason, work blocks your site threads: At any rate, I called and spoke with Tim. (btw: he's no longer at that location/number) We spoke for about 30-40 minutes, and you're right; he is a straight-shooter. He's been building Dodge transmissions for 35yrs, and seems extremely knowledgeable. Basically, here's the jest of the conversation: Well, crap...
7. This tire saga is starting to turn into a parallel of my trans saga
8. my 4.10s at 65mph this morning on 245/75s was carrying a steady 5-6PSI boost on level ground.
9. Heres a pic of the light feathering I was seeing at 65psi. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
10. JR, I'm monitoring them with my IR temp gun. they're still a tad warmer on the center than the edges, but by about 10*F. I'm keeping an eye on them, for sure. with a rear weight (empty of under 3000lb, I can't see where 30-45psi would be a problem. Even my trailer loaded, I'm still at maybe 4000lb rear truck axle weight, at most. We'll see
11. So I dropped pressure in the rears to 45psi. It seems to tow much more stable, and the contact patch is at about 95% contact towing. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
12. I've often contemplated doing this to my dually, but never can seem to pull the trigger... I like it, but just not sure if I like it enough to actually do it to mine..
13. That would suck Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
14. Lol. Well I haven't come up with a definite pressure to set the at yet. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

22. Unsure on the 48re, but the 47re, I needed about 8qts of fluid when I replaced my GPSol and GPSen. The gasket under the Governor Solenoid housing can tear if you aren't careful, and there was a small retainer clip keeping the Sol from coming out of the plate. I also installed a drain plug in the pan. So I drilled a 3/8" hole in the pan before removing it, and drained the fluid that way. Once empty, I then removed the pan, itself, cleaned up the pan, magnet, shavings, and installed the drain plug. As for bands, I've never been successful, nor do I own an in/lb torque wrench..
23. Hmmm... now where did I bury that money can...
