  1. What are you using the attitude to monitor via obd? The SG2 most likely will monitor the same things. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Yeah I guess so. Lol Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  3. I'm trying to fund a 4500 swap as soon as my money tree sprouts...Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I was about 60mi out. I only had to do that 2 more times.. Im so over this $#@#& auto trans... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  5. So jere I sit, side of road, trailer in tow.. trans wont stay in OD for more than 10m. With 4.10 gears, 48mph in 3rd is about 2500rpm. Trans temp 165, coolant 190, no codes.. it kicks out of od, turns the "od off" button's light on, and that's it. I have to pull over, turn truck off and sit about 10min .. then itay/may not turn back on. Tow weight is about 5000lb..Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  6. A MODIS will definitely tell you wtf is going on. I have this: http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16366 and it will tell me most trans codes in my '97.
  7. Nice, thank you. Right now, I have a 3BR, 2.5BA, 2-car Garage on 1/4 ac. It's assessed at 268K but actual market value is closer to 300. I live in a nice neighborhood, but we barely make it each month (single income, paid once per month.) I've got decent equity (+50% ) in it, which also helps. - - - Updated - - - My brother lives in Viola and works in WA at the university.
  8. For Spokane, WA area: You need to earn $68,293 to maintain the same standard of living in Spokane, Washington. That's less than what I make now. For Viola, ID area: You need to earn $63,088 to maintain the same standard of living in Spokane, Washington. - - - Updated - - - wow, I'm quite surprised here, with this info: WINCHESTER, VIRGINIA: The tax rate for 2012 is $0.95 per $100 of assessed value. For example, a property valued at $100,000 would pay $950.00 in yearly taxes. This amount would be divided into two semiannual payments of $475.00 each, due June 5th and December 5th. VIOLA, ID: For Latah County with an estimated levy of 0.018730574 and a market value of $100,000.00 the estimated property tax is $1,873.06 That's almost TWO TIMES the amount of Real Estate property tax of Virginia... My 2013 RE property tax is $2200
  9. will do, Mike. I have done this a little bit, but not much. I'm more-so interested in real-life examples from those of you that are in that area..
  10. In an effort to save you guys (and gals) from a long, drawn out story of how this is coming about, I'll try to keep it fairly simple.. My wife (and I, a little bit) wants to move to the WA/ID area, from Virginia. My concerns are as follows: [*]Cost of Living [*]Employment [*]Schools/education quality for my kids [*]Median income If I do decide to make this move, It'll be quite a culture shock for her, and a little bit (climate-wise) for me. I'd much prefer to have a job lined up PRIOR to making the decision to move, as that would be the smartest thing to do.
  11. This is troof
  12. Me and a buddy installed some PIAA lights on my truck last weekend..Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  13. Dave, you did the pump mod?
  14. What on earth did you search for that dug up this seven-month-old thread?
  15. Hx35 is an hx35 from a mounting perspective.. Only real differences are the exhaust elbow at dp and wga signal. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Having had the 4500 and 5600, I can tell you that for towing, the 5600 makes towing heavy far easier.. the gap in the 3-4 shift is huge; the 6 speed rectifies this.I did the auto-to-4500 swap in my '96 a few years back. It was a cake process.
  17. I think it's an opinionated issue, as far as 'how' to strap it down. If that were the case, then everyone hauling drywall, plywood, groceries, etc., would have a strap requirement. I'm not arguing, just making an observation. I do agree, though, that strapping it down well, regardless of your method, is a safe option.
  18. The only way itll lockup in 2nd (w/o a vb mod) as wired my TST diagram is if you have the selector in "D" and flip the toggle after the 2nd gear engagement. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  19. No you're not the only one that can feel 5 engagements. Bottom line is that it is a 4gear set, period. The fifth is a clutch lock of the tc. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
