1. Sounds like you're looking at the AC condenser. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
2. So as some of you know, I've been fighting multiple 47RE issues. I had added a TCC lockup as well as an OD switch last year to 'band-aid' the shifting issues I was experiencing. In some testing, I had reconnected all wiring back to original. Last week, I relocated the toggle switches, and rewired them into the system. What I am now noticing is that the switches "work", but the TCC doesn't seem to be locking as solidly as before. Now, when I lock the TCC, I still get some rpm flaring when accelerating with the TC locked, regardless of whether or not the OD is 'engaged'. When I had it on toggles before, the TCC engaged was a solid lock; it felt like a manual transmission in gear. The only real difference between then and now are: [*]Toggle switches relocated to a different place [*]OSS wiring has been fixed (it wasn't connected to the PCM before) I've also noticed that (now) when I'm at 40mph or greater, the TC toggle doesn't seem to 'unlock' the TCC, whereas it would, before.
3. My 3500 has Diamond Eye 4" TBE with a muffler, and it's not very quiet. My 2500 24V had Diamond Eye 5" with muffler and 6" tip, and I think it was more quiet than this 4" setup. Granted, the 12V has a different exhaust note than the 24V, but noise levels between the two are completely different.
4. hey, we've ALL thrown together some redneckish shiz! To share is to compare, not to point fingers :)and of course, it's all about the informational purposes LOL"Hey y'all, watch this! Here, hold my beer a sec... Don't spit in it, neither.."
5. I failed lol Search "47re woes. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
6. wait, you did what? Pics or it didn't happen! LOL - - - Updated - - - This is true. We parted out an Audi A6 not long ago. Sold both CCs to a metal recycler locally for about 250$. apparently the 'european car' ones are worth a little more than domestic or asian autos..
7. Here's my 6 page thread of 'issues' with my 47RE lol
8. thanks very much, sir! Apparently I'm missing a couple pieces after looking at your picture. That is what I needed to see. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 - - - Updated - - - I need: #24 (x2) #25 #27 http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=5257&d=1364406891
9. I just picked up me CQ 88637 bhaf for $29 and two oil filters for $5ea. Filter sale this week... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 - - - Updated - - - Installed it.. The turbo to filter hose is really snug-fitting, but perfect, IMO. The flange on the filter is quite firm and seals to the hose really well. for the time being, I split a pice of 1/2" hose and covered the AC line. I'll make a mount this weekend for it.
10. I checked out the spreadsheet, but I'm on a Linux box, using LibreOffice. Is it a interactional spreadsheet? I'm also seeing a bunch of REF# cells, so I don't know if it's my LibreOfc or the sheet itself.
11. Can you elaborate on the resitor size, as well as placement, for this 'temporary fix', as well as the symptoms you were experiencing? I'm curious and looking for any/all various info regarding the 47RE, since I'm having a bunch of different issues with mine..
12. I asked this excact same thing a year or so ago... Here's Michael's post on the matter: http://forum.mopar1973man.com/threads/3241-Fuel-tank-size(s)?p=25868#post25868
13. Powerblock TV (Spike) Xtreme 4x4 built it from a kit chassis. - - - Updated - - - that dude... uhm.. is wreckless! LOL
14. Ok, after searching through the diagrams of the instrument cluster, it appears that the gauge signals (minus the oil pressure) are sent to the cluster from the PCM via data link..However, in your situation, I think you can use aftermarket gauges and be fine. I'd leave the OEM sensors in place so not to throw codes for them, but add your additional gauges as needed.
15. I'll get you the diagram. You can use mechanical oil gauge. Tach is from crank sensor I believe but I'll verify in the morning with diagrams. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
16. well, the 2001 Oil Pressure switch only connects to the gauge; it does not go to the PCM.The Speedo on the 2001 is electronic, and is read from the rear diff sensor, I believe.I guess some baseline questions for you to research are:What are the values, resistance-wise, that the Ford looks for to operate full sweep? Then we can try to compare that to what the Cummins sensors output.I'm assuming you need Oil pressure, water temp, voltage, speedo.. what else?
17. Hi Wes. The 01, IIRC, has most the instrument panel gauges controlled by the PCM, IIRC.. Do you have a 2001 Dodge Ram Cummins FSM with wiring schematics?
18. Gauge does good.. it never turns off lol. Red one =TCCBlack one = ODSent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
19. Since I don't use the ash tray, I made a switch panel with some old abs plastic I had.. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
20. Thanks, Rick. I almost 'have to' track them down; I've got no choice otherwise :banghead: I'm still banging away at the 47RE issues, however LOL - - - Updated - - - I might order the Tork Tek one next paycheck..
21. it'll drop to ~30psi under load which isn't much movement of the needle. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

23. Here's the Bosch 'new' one..PN#The inlet hole is a lot bigger on the Bosch than the OEM one, too..Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
