Detail king's plastic restoration should be exactly what you're looking for. They seem to have pretty top of the line products. Been meaning actually get some myself

I have a remanufactured box on the truck right now and it's 3 1/4 turn and i don't think I like it as much as the stock 4 turn. Seems like I'm having to play with the wheel too much driving on the highway

I'm on the search for a core, I can't afford any down time on my. Did you happen to get the 4 turn ratio or the quick 3 1/4 turn ratio?

Banks put out a video on Youtube Dec. 10th saying their dyno caught fire while they were filming part 3 of their diff cover video series. Hopefully they get everything fixed and release some data.

Quick update, found some interior at a price I couldn't pass up so I convinced the wife to let me get out and i finished up the interior. Just need to figure out how to go from non power seats to power and heated. Should be fun!

More than likely the fasteners are bad for the door panels. Maybe just one or more of the fasteners aren't in the holes. There's not really a whole lot on the door panels that can rattle, It's almost a solid piece of plastic. Would definitely try to find some OEM fasteners because the eBay fasteners that I bought broke as soon as I had to take the door panels back off to put in speakers. For the pillar, your best bet is to find a new one unless you know how to melt the plastic to keep the metal fastener on. I believe the tolerances for the plastic is pretty small and has to be flat or else the pillar won't go on flush. I'll be trying to fix mine because all the metal fasteners on the passenger side pillar all broke when I get some extra money, not sure if I'll be using a soldering iron or a heat gun

Well jokes on me and I feel like an idiot! I got the dash this far, went to go grab the hoses off the other side and the hoses slid forwad. I guess the diameter of the hose that comes out of the firewall is slightly smaller on the aftermarket heater core and the clamp didn't clamp enough so it was leaking through underneath the clamp and back into the cab. Reached into the HVAC box and it's dry so it makes sense now.

Thank you! I actually have to take it apart again because the new heater core is leaking and leaked into the blend door and now the blend door doesn't work ☹️

I used detail Kings smoke grey carpet dye. I was going to use Rit but read that it will rub off but can't confirm

I figured FASS would have fixed it by now. I know they were sending people replacement balls to solve the issue for anyone who had it. mine bounces a little bit but not as much as OPs. Will have to pull mine and see how it is.

Well then, looks like I might have to dig around and see if there's an issue on my end. I've never seen anything lower than maybe 350 and that was in 15* weather in the middle of winter. Mind typically sits at 400* cold idle and 450-500 warmed up.

At idle when cold the truck should be around 400-500* on the pyro. When you installed the fuel pressure gauge did you put on a snubber valve?

Just put the new map sensor in and now the quadzilla is reading the same as the isspro gauge. Feels like I got all of my low boost power back and the turbos aren't as laggy

So I found the scale weight of the truck 5586lbs, We've pretty much sold everything we have except for essentials like cloths. Every place i've contacted with trailers that would work said they only do 1 way and I talked to Uhaul and they won't rent me the trailer I could use from them because it's too far I guess. So I'm currently looking at a 8k capacity tow bar. I'll just have to disconnect the drive shafts before hand

Also running the ISSPRO EV2 gauge in my truck. I'm showing about 15 PSI on the gauge when my Quadzilla shows 8 or 9 PSI. I have a new MAP sensor coming in tomorrow and will be putting it in to see if that changes anything. I'll keep you updated.

I know, Luckily there's a fix!. I'll probably buy one after I move to Texas to keep everything in the HVAC box clean. I don't really care for how they look so I might use some free time to make a mold of the stock cover and make a whole cowl that can use a filter so it looks completely stock.

If we had no option left to tow it i'd have my wife drive it, just didn't want to spend the extra money on gas, especially since the fuel gauge doesn't work, still not sure why.
