Anyone have any idea what it would cost to have my HX35 build as a 35/40 hybrid? Seems like mike is pretty happy with his... Is there any such thing as a drop in I could get for the price of the swap? MYbe a little more.

How would the He351cw do on stock injectors?

I have done that! Although it has fluctuated a lot I think it’s prob because of degrading injectors

Where are you getting the parts for the swap? Is 400 including the chRger?

If I’m going aftermarket it has to be drop in and be able to run it without having a Qaudzilla. Also I’m not going over 75hp with injectors.

I’m not entirely sure. I may either rebuild this one or just do the swap. I need to price all the parts for the swap and see how much less it would be from a new aftermarket turbo

Nope we had this conversation before about the swap but it never happened lol. I’m thinking the swap will be the next cheapest option besides a rebuild.

I was fiddling around under the hood today and come to find out that there is excessive turbo play and a lot of oil film in the housing. I can see that the turbine has contacted the oil film and I’m fairly certain I can see a faint mark around the housing beneath the oil. What should I do for a turbo? Rebuild this one or go with a aftermarket or He351cw? Currently running Dap 75s. I think this has something to do with low low end power. Top end with these injectors is really good it takes off well but low end power feels very laggy.... Ipinions?

Hmm if I ever remove them it won’t be becuase a want to line x the whole thing it will be becuase I want to take em off for good. In that case I better just leave well enough alone and get some touch up paint and running boards to prevent more chips.

How did u get the old chrome off? I’m tempted to get those panels but spray them with line x first. It would save a ton of $ and it would likely look pretty nice.

What about spraying the terminals with WD-40?

I guess I kind of forgot to post back with results! Truck seems to be running great!! I even gained 1.2 mpg by the lie o meter! Thanks for all the help guys!

And I would never ever buy intruck that has been tuned. Only a stock truck. But that’s just me Actually I have been throwing the idea around if getting a P pump 12 valve!

I would tend to agree. I’m not entirely sure what I wanna do yet. If I’m gonna sell it I want it to be as nice as possible to get max price for it.
