That’s a beautiful truck man! Wish so bad I could keep mine inside! How did you keep the underside so clean?

Vp44 question
Sounds like BS lol.

Titanium 150 Pressure Adjustment
True but I might as well stick anew full length chunk in there.... less chance of air getting in.

Thanks! There won’t be any leaks with the amount of rtv I used lol. Oops too late now unless I get a new length of hose.... Ought to have the truck ready to roll by tomorrow afternoon! Changing the oil to my summer 15W 40 from 5W 40 while I’m working on it. Fass filters and stock filters being replaced as welll.

He stock return is hooked to the Draw straw. You just can’t see nothin in the picture lol.

Well I’m a bit skeptical but here’s my progress! It’s very tight in there but hopefully with all the rtv I put on there it will be a air tight effective fuel system. If not we’ll ill have to plug that hole and get another straw.....

Great idea! Thanks a lot! And that hole is from the stock fitting I didn’t drill that one just FYI....

Exactly what I did.

Thanks for pointing that out. It is very tight but I believe I can make it work. If it won’t work righ there I can make it work just in front of where my finger is on the pic.

Titanium 150 Pressure Adjustment
Alright guys here’s what’s up! Canceled the order of the new fuel basket because I figured out a “better” way to do it! I cut the Draw Straw tonshort while trying to install yesterday. So here’s the deal: He Straw is sti long enough that I can drill a hole beside the basket and the tank vent hose and be able to use the rubber gasket from the stock pickup fitting to install the straw in that location. (Location pictured below) Pickup and return tunes will be plumbers in just like they normally would. Next I plan to add an inline 50 micron fuel filter. Then I plan to JB Weld a piece of plastic or some other material over the old hole in the top of the basket. This will be saving me the 357.80$ that I spent on the new basket with drawstraw. Who cares if it’s red neck cuase no one will be able to see it lol!

What do you use to control the on off with the key?

Did my VP go too?
Dang that looks pretty sweet actually! Just got to honking that there’s no reason I couldn’t do that same thing and not even have to wait for parts! The Draw Straw should still be long enough because if I mount it where you did it will be lower than on top of the basket! Any reason I couldn’t do that? I was thinking I would place it right beside the stock basket.

Tell me about it!

Did my VP go too?
Draw straw to short and a gutted basket with a clipped pickup tube. Useless now. I’m going to get a modified basket from Vulcan.

Well looks like I’m going to be installing a aftermarket basket or sump. I ruined the whole dam thing by not draining the fuel all the way out.
-
Titanium 150 Pressure Adjustment
I Jim know going to be putting a sump in. I just fouled up the basket and straw.
-
Turbo blanket?
It’s there

I accidentally posted some questions in the wrong thread. They are in the other thread I started today entitled titanium pressure adjustment

Titanium 150 Pressure Adjustment
Is this the top part that needs cut out? And where my fingers are is where I need to drill the half inch holes right? And the last pic is the part that stays out of the basket right? The directions aren’t just the easiest to follow lol
