  1. Also a couple days ago my trip meter on the dash started to reset itself every time I shut the truck off. I don’t know if that has anything to do with this current issue. Hopefully I can fix this before I have to make the 1.5hr trip back home tomorrow without a radio ?
  2. I pulled that out already and it visually looked good and it made the radio make a noise when I put it back in so I’m assuming it’s good. Gunna get my multimeter tomorrow and test all the fuses
  3. So yesterday I drove my truck to walmart. Everything was normal. Came out of Walmart started up my truck and my airbag light came on and I’ve lost my radio, fan controls, turn signals (hazards still work), too (key on) cigarette plug. Also my truck is shifting really weird like it slipping know. My question is what all controls this stuff that I listed off? Trucks a 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 drw 24v cummins. Thanks in advance also everything I mentioned turns on when I have the key in accessory but as soon as I start the truck they go out
  4. I got a question about the high idle mode. If I find someone with a smarty tuner Can I use their tuner to activate 3 cylinder high idle mode and then whenever the quad initialized high idle it would be in 3 cylinder correct? Or does it work differently?
  5. That makes sense. So I would just clear my data log before I make a pull and then I could see what my slip % was for that pull. I get it know. Thanks
  6. Oh ok. Whenever I go to the data logging I notice it is always at 100% and I know my trans isn’t slipping so I always was wondering what it did.

  8. Is the downloads sections your referring to the v2 tuning repository? Or is their somewhere else?
  9. Ok so I’ve got 2 questions.. 1) Recently I’ve been having my high idle mode act really weird. Normally the rpms will gradually climb as the high idle kicks in (I have the delay set for 60 sec.) but I’ve been noticing that lately the high idle just jumps up to around 1100-1200 rpms instantly and not gradually as I’d like to see it. Also I’m sometimes still having an issue where the high idle will kick on after my truck is up to temp and my delay expires. I’ve tried unplugging the quad and I’ve updated it but nothing has changed. Anybody else had an issue like this? 2) Also I was curious if their was a way to get the default quad tunes like the adr2000 tunes onto the box ( I guess my question is has anybody been able to make a look alike tune for all the normal quad adr. Lvls). I’ve had a couple buddies who want to race but they want to have my truck in the same lvl tune as theirs. I’m not sure why guess their just scared of the v2 tuning ?
  10. Ya I’ve done that a couple times. Take off on lvl 0 and don’t realize until I get down the road and have to pull over to switch it to a higher lvl. I have an auto so if it try to flip over lvl 1 quick it falls on its face for a second until I hit lvl 2
  11. Except prior to me putting the 2.5” springs and the mud tires on I had been getting the same exact 15-16 mpg. Didn’t notice any decrease in mpg and this was before I got the quad. So it’s either my weight/aerodynamics or that I’m just gunna have to live with this gas mileage until this summer when I get bigger injectors
  12. I’m not sure on the injectors. I’m the 2nd owner and I bought it off an older guy so I doubt they were ever changed
  13. Yup I’m gunna start by taking the toolbox and transfer tank out and see the effect. Hopefully I can find a topper soon also.
  14. The weird thing is I have been getting 15-16mpg when I didn’t have anything done to the truck and I still get that during the winter with winterized fuel.
  15. Hmmm I’ll have to check into the psi thing. I always thought more psi was better due to less sag in the tire giving less surface area. And yeah my trucks a big heavy land yacht ?
  16. @Mopar1973Man The last time I took scrap metal in my truck and the empty single axle trailer weight in at 8,800lbs. So I’m guessing I’m around the 8K lb range. My front bumper definitely added some weight to my front and even with my leveling kit it sags in the front like it does stock. I guess the 110 gallon transfer tank in my bed doesn’t help either ?. I always inflate my tires whenever I leave for a long trip to about 65-70 psi. I’ve been looking for a topper that I could put on in the winter months I guess I’ll have to speed up that search and see if that helps any. Also does your edge comp look a like tune only work for the quad v2 vehicle selection and not the TEST v2 selection? When I download the tune and import it to my quad app it goes straight to my regular v2 selection regardless the vehicle selection that I’m currently on
  17. The quad said 13.78 and I pumped roughly 15. This 15mpg was from 100 miles of highway (70-75) and 200 from daily driving (60-65). Not a lot of stop and go mainly a lot of setting the cruise and driving @Mopar1973Man What do I have to change to reduce my engine load? I plan on doing injectors this summer but is their anything else I can do to lower my load? If I remember correctly I’m pretty much at 35-45% cruising at almost every speed 60mph+. Also for upping my timing while at cruising speeds (I’m currently seeing 21 degrees) I would just increase my cruise timing adv. by .5 or so correct to get it in the 22/23 range?
  18. So I set my cruise timing to 40% and am seeing around 21 degree at cruising 75 when it’s under 40%. My quad said I had gone through 27.53 gallons of fuel and when I filled up I only put in 19 gallons. It used the be accurate to within 1 gallon but it is now way off and I’m not really sure why. Im also only getting 15.4 mpg right now. Is that just what I’m going to be stuck with with stock injectors or should I be getting better numbers?
  19. Yup stock injectors. I read earlier somewhere on the page that going over 30% was not recommended so I’ve just been setting it to 30%.

  21. What level are you seeing your best mpg at? I’ve tried level 2-6 and I still can’t get a very good mpg. I’m currently getting 14-15. I’ve based my tune off of your old tune that you were getting 20mpg out of.
  22. So if I got 5.23gallons on the quad but the actual was 6.425 the percentage that I would put in would be 119.5% correct?
  23. Got it to connect finally, just tried it over and over again and it finally connected. Thanks for the help getting this figured out
  24. I got the driver to install on my laptop but i still can’t get it to read the info from my quad. I have the right cord because it beeps from connecting but it won’t connect?
