  1. Mines the same way. I normally get around 120 miles until the gauge starts to move. I generally hit 1/2” tank around 250-300 miles taking around 20 gallons to fill up. After half tank it feels like you could watch the gauge move if you stared at it while driving ?
  2. I’m going with this trans pan from lPW racing. @notlimah My trans temp gets hot when I push it hard now that it’s 80 degrees out here in MI.
  3. Getting an aux trans cooler for my truck pretty soon here. I’m also getting a deep trans pan. I’ve narrowed it down to the Derale 15840 and the 15960. Anyone have person experience with any of these? Or if you have another suggestions fire them my way! I’m also going to do the Derale electric fan set up adventually when I get time. Also is their any good write ups on installing these on our trucks? I did a quick google search and didn’t come up with much
  4. You got the aerodynamics of mine but I only weigh around 8k lbs thankfully. ?
  5. Im we’ll aware of the fact that I’ll most likely never see 21mph. If I were wanting higher mpgs I would be driving a car ? I’m very happy with my 16mpgs
  6. Hit the save button and it should refresh onto your signature I believe
  7. Your truck is just a aerodynamic beast! I’m still seeing 25% load at 65mph, granted I weigh a fair bit more
  8. @KMayborn I’ve learned that anything over 70mph my mpgs drop fast. The speed limit is 75 around here in Michigan and the fastest I go is 70 just enough to stay ahead of the semis. Anything that will bring your engine load % down more is a big plus also. Edit: going from stock injectors to 7x.010’s I went from 37% load at 70mph to 29% load. I’m sure I’ve gained a few mpgs but I’ve been too busy playing around with the new set up
  9. Aww man! That sucks, I’m still getting used to these 7x.010’s so I’m only getting 14.5 mpg cuz I like to run the hot tune on the daily. ?
  10. Didn’t know where to put this topic but since it’s on a 2nd gen I’ll put it here. I’m wanting to paint the compressor housing on my he351cw this weekend but it’s a pain to remove the snap ring that holds it on. It doesn’t have one of those convenient tabs that make it easy to remove its just got 1 hole in each side like a normal snap ring. Does anyone have a cheap tool that I can pick up at the hardware store? I can’t find any snap ring pliers big enough. I got it out last time with 2 punches and some channel locks but I’d rather not go through that again ?
  11. Yes it does. I’ve flashed my box before with this same cord.

  13. @Norowner Check out the quadzilla power section under venders I believe. A whole forum dedicated just to the quadzilla platform
  14. I’ve been trying to flash your long idle version for a good 1.5hrs. Done a whole bunch of different combinations. Even deleted my quad driver and installed it over again. Still nothing. Guess I’ll give it a shot tomorrow
  15. @Me78569 Is it normal for it to be a pain to reflash the box? I’ve only been able to do it once with out a problem. Every other time ive had to fiddle with it and take a lot of time to get it to connect.
  16. Did you remove or loosen the (4) hold down bolts? Once you remove them the lines have a bit of travel
  17. Just replaced mine last weekend. Remove the injector hold down bolts (4) I believe and you will have enough room to move them just out of the way of the crossover tubes
  18. Does anybody know if their is a significant difference between the Derale deep dish and the maghytec pan? Besides the $150 price difference of course ?
  19. I have my probe in the tranny case where the quadzilla says to put in in their manual. I plan on splicing it into the return line this summer, but right now with this cold it doesn't even register a temp. as the minimum is 100 F unless I got WOT for a stretch then it will come up to 105 but then back down to under 100F.
  20. Its just like people who install a banks intake horn and think that it added a whole bunch of horsepower because it "flows" better when in fact theirs guys with 800+hp trucks running a stock air horn. Now with the exhaust I agree with you when you say that just because you have a 4" doesn't mean you don't have to worry about EGT's. In my mind I agree with Moparman when he says to adjust the tuning instead of paying $350+ for an exhaust system just to lower EGTs. But then again a 4" exhaust does sound great
  21. l second what @Mopar1973Man says about the EGT's not changing, I went from a stock exhaust with just a straight pipe delete for the muffler to a 5" exhaust and didn't notice any changes in EGT's that would actually make a difference.
  22. Look at the “how to import/export custom tunes” topic on the main quadzilla page
  23. The power bug is the worst and best thing in my life! Just finished up installing some 7x10 injectors in my truck, gunna be a long restless night thinking about it ? Got a day full of tuning for me tomorrow ?
  24. I can’t claim that as my idea. Someone on here already has it on their double din touchscreen. I’m on the android platform so I got to look for a radio that can run android apps. You’d need one for Apple. My tablet won’t hold a charge for over 1 minute from the cold now so I figured the radio would be awesome but it’s most likely gunna be $$ to get a good quality flip out Bluetooth touchscreen one ??
  25. I’ve got a cheap walmart suction/ magnet mount. Works great. I’m looking into buying a flip out radio that I can download the iquad app so I can use it on their due to my tablet battery constantly dying after sitting in the truck in the cold this winter
