  1. Problem solved. Yesterday when I went on a test drive the PCU P0122 + P1693 codes vanished. I tried to clear the remaining code: ECU P0222 + P1693 But is was not clearing. I decided to sleep on it. This morning I wanted to go with a KISS approach. Yesterday when i was putting everything back together after I finished installing the new injector set (a fun time for sure) I noticed that the connector under the throttle position sensor was very goopy dirty so I had shot some terminal cleaner in it. Today I took that connector off to inspect it. There were no apparent physical issues with it but it was a bit wet in there. There appeared to be some remaining terminal cleaner still hanging around from yesterday. I decided to shoot it again with a different type of electrical cleaner that would evaporate better. I took the rubber boot of the plug and sprayed some something I happen to have on the shelf, MAS Airflow Sensor Cleaner (plastic safe), on the plug and let it do it's think for a few hours. Put it all back together and presto magnifico the error codes could be cleared and everything is back to normal, except the more power and such from the injector upgrade, which is a solid improvement! As always thanks for any and all suggestions I get from everyone. It's a super helpful group!
  2. Oh shoot I just realized I posted this in 911 sorry my bad.
  3. I installed a new set of injectors and bled the lines. It'll fire up. Running rough though. When I hit the gas pedal I get zero. Check engine light is on 3 key turn read offers me these clues. PCU P0122 + P1693 ECU P0222 + P1693 Update got the throttle back, fixed itself, let it idol and now it seems to be running smooth. Error codes still in play.
  4. Ah I see. Good fix. How did you attach it? I'm guessing a sandwich with the oak as you mentioned earlier.
  5. I'm not seeing the pix of that. There's a slight glitch in mine in that area that I need to look into.
  6. The one I just picked up is a BF 1990. I like the build quality so far. Needs a bit of love and attention, but she's solid overall. Only weighs 1800#
  7. That might be doable! @JAG1 what kind of camper do you have? This one is 1990 Bigfoot. Needs a bit of love, but she's solid and everything works. Interior is super clean!
  8. Sounds fun. What part of he Eastern Sierras?
  9. Out in the middle of nowhere this morning.
  10. You never know where this winding road is going to take you.
  11. Makes me wonder who ties these folks shoes up in the morning...
  12. That's what I refer to as as having "more money than brains." And as for the youth? Well, youth is waisted on the young. LOL
  13. LOL I think you're right about it. I looked up "Field Service Manual" or FSM and came up with Factory Service Manual. I just ordered the CD off ebay so I'll have that sometime soon.
  14. Kicken' thanks!!! What does the FSM say about the front wheels?
  15. I'm nerdy but apparently not nerdy enough. Can you kindly tell me what FSM, SRW and DRW stand for? :-)
  16. I may do that even though the wheel manufacturer siad it’s fine. I’ll be going down a lot of dirt roads with an 1800# camper on top. It it were just going to be on pavement, I probably wouldn’t bother. The wheel mfg said to follow the Dodge torque settings in the manual for the truck. With the 1/2" studs it should be #90-110. However what I know from street/track cars is that you add 10# for aluminum wheels over steel. So steel wheels get 90 and aluminum wheels get 100 on street cars. So I may go 120# I've sent the question to Rickson to see what they have to say about it.
  17. Rickson said they are forged so that's a solid 100% Th weights are interior now. It's a great point your raise for the future, thanks for that.
  18. Definitely forged according to Rickson. Thank you I'll look into the Alcoa info. Good to know. Excellent document! https://www.arconic.com/alcoawheels/catalog/pdf/2017_service_manual_english.pdf
  19. I got an answer back from rickson just now. They said it’s fine and that I have nothing to worry about!!
  20. lol yes I did that too, but sometimes it’s good to get multiple opinions. You never know what you might lean.
  21. LOL that's what I said I did. They are Rickson wheels for sure.
