Brake Lights will not turn off when vehicle is parked.
I think so, working on getting the oil out of the switch and checking on that leak that's making it wet. Looks like I have a seal to replace. This looks like a good how to vid on that. Any thoughts? I took out the brake switch at the petal so I could inspect it and get all the goop out of it. I also cleaned up the connector to it. There's definitely some wetness at the hydroboost inside the truck.

Okay good to know!

Yes I do, I'll unplug that. Is it normal for the brake switch at the petal to be all oilyish?

Ok I just went outside again and the brake lights are off. I'm so puzzled. I think there really is a poltergeist in the Dragon.

Brilliant! As always! I removed all fuses 4 5 & 10 and the lights are still on :-( perhaps there's a ghost in the Dragon? I did notice something oily in the connector at the brake petal switch when I disconnected it, not sure where that would come from, seemed strange to me. Not sure what to try next. Any further suggestions would be most appreciated.

LOL Thanks for the response. I really do mean my actual dog. My truck is the Dragon! I drove my truck yesterday and this has all been happening since I parked it yesterday afternoon. I'll look into those things as you suggested, thank you. Brilliant! As always! Thanks now I at least know where to start.

Brake Lights will not turn off when vehicle is parked.
HI I took the dog out last night and noticed that my brake lights were on. I played around with the petal and they went off, for awhile. Then they came back on. Then I unplugged the switch at the brake pedal, they went off, for awhile. Then they came back on. Then I unplugged the fuse for the tail lights, they went off, for awhile. I took the dog out this morning, and they were back on. I'm not too good at electrical so any advise is most welcome. I'm in a remote area, and I have some tools, so the best thing would be for me to figure it out where I sit.

NEED HELP! Engine cold, but Coolant Temperature gauge Pegged with Error Codes
Good to know. I don't use Andriod or have a windows machine at this point. I'll have to see how far I can get with the Blue Driver I guess. To check codes the engine has to be running is that true of the tools you use as well?

Which one do you use? I have a blue driver but I need to learn more about how to use it.

Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
You think that's bad. Try living way up in the Los Angeles mountains within view of LAX airport. I've been here my entire life and the sky were not like they are now, not at all. Unpolluted con trails dissipate immediately. Ask any pilot if you don't believe me. I see both cases every day.

Heat Shield for the BHAF
No doubt that's gonna happen soon. I have the strip of aluminum waiting. I just have to get to fabbing it and having a nice spot for the filter to rest. That's on the short list.

Heat Shield for the BHAF
Yea the stock air box was not in the truck when I got it. I have a little rubber cap over an acorn nut on the nut closest to the battery. The's already a small dent in the metal cage. I'll have to do something about that soon. Probably just an aluminum strap to cover the nut or something like that. There needs to be more surface area on that contact point for sure. The bottom plate will at some point be replaced with a thicker piece of aluminum as well, that gorilla tape is annoying me.

Can you recommend a DRBIII It starts as normal, but that's a great question. Haven't driven it yet.

Thermostat is new. Battery terminals are also new and solid as can be. Good to know thank you. It appears to have a good connection but I'll push a pin in the connections tomorrow and see if I can learn something.

Heat Shield for the BHAF
I have a first draft of this idea in place. I'll probably redo it at some point this is a good start point for an experiment. So far so good. Any and all comments and/or suggestions on ways to improve this are more than welcome. I need to swap out the bottom plate with a better piece. This was just some stuff had around that I folded in half and taped up around the end for the test run. If I use a larger trash can and make it taller I can but a rubber seal on the top of it. I may use a larger trash can next time. The fun thing about this fire resistant trash can is it won't light on fire with an open flame or react at all. No blistering or any of that. Just carbon from the flame built up on it an that just came right off with a paper towel.

NEED HELP! Engine cold, but Coolant Temperature gauge Pegged with Error Codes
I started up my truck today, it's in a dead-cold been-parked state. I got a check engine light, the check gauges warning text light came on and immediately my temperature gauge pegged. The engine is cold! I check codes with the key turn method I get: P1693 followed by P0118. I pull more codes with my ODB2 reader and get P0118 & P0116 I tested the temperature sensor for ohms. Room temp, about 70 degrees, I get 8.6k ohms Cold water from the fridge I get 19.3k Boiling water I get 700 ohms It's doing something but not sure if it's doing that something right or not. I tested the connector with the key on and I get a nice 5v reading I checked the blue ground wire at the connector for ground at the block and get zero ohms. The pins are good in the sensor and the connectors are clean at the harness connector. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Heat Shield for the BHAF
Cool! I think I saw that pix earlier while looking around here but I could never get back to it. I was wondering what the build was on that. Is that the stock air intake tube? I have a K & N that's too long and I can't cut it becuase I have to put the K&N Costume back on to pass smog later :-) so I have to leave all those parts in tact so I can do the quick costume swap when smog time comes again. California requires some trickery sometimes.

Heat Shield for the BHAF
Correct, it does, I'm just not sure if the limit is in C or F based on the. In the 4th detail tab the info is as follows: DETAIL OVERLOAD DISPLAY The digital display will indicate 1 when the input exceeds the measurement range selected. A damaged probe will indicate 1 on the display. If measuring above 199.9° <<<<-----NOT SURE IF THIS IS F or C???

Heat Shield for the BHAF
This is the one I have. I think it goes up to 199 degrees but it doesn't say weather or not that's F or C so I sent them a inquiry to find out. https://www.joesracing.com/i-21092094-joes-deluxe-racing-pyrometer.html I'll look into measuring it somehow. I like to measure stuff LOL
