This new 6.7 is quiet, clutch is quite a bit louder than the engine

I like it. It would get tired quick if you were in traffic often. The clutch hooks good in play situations. Very noisy in drive thru's and enclosed spaces

Black ***** build
Had it together enough last night to fire it up. Have to go back over my wiring as my FASS isn't getting signal from the computer. It worked before we pulled the engine so should work now.

Engine ECM
Has anyone found a replacement for the bolt in the centre of the plug for the engine ECM that is bolted on the tappet cover. I found that someone had broken the one on mine sometime in the past. I Can't find a listing for just the bolt anywhere. I went to the Dodge dealer and they Don't have any listing for the ECM or Plug let alone the bolt.

I currently have a SB dual disc clutch in my 2017 DRW 6.7 G56 fully deleted with 550hp. Except the rattle I love it. It hooks up hard and holds. The stock clutch burnt up in 12k miles at stock power levels. It slipped the first time I hooked my little single axle SkiDoo trailer on.

In 99 they changed from the 12 1/4 inch clutch to the 13". I'm thinking 250hp and 500ft/lbs but can't find anything to verify.- Black ***** build
Thought I should start a build thread on my truck. Truck is a 99 ECLB DRW factory Sport pkg. I will be replacing and upgrading the entire suspension and steering with parts from DOR LLC. As well as a new ps pump and lines from Geno's, red head steering box, borgstein shaft, and ram rock solid bushing. Installing a 5.9 reman from DFC diesel with upgraded Hamilton valve train, Wagler rods, Colt stage 3 cam, 7x13 sticks, II VP 44, compound turbo's and twin kit from Crazy Carl's, BD billet flywheel, Northern hi flow intercooler, Crazy Carl's intake horn and intake plate. Everything on the engine will be replaced, new oil cooler, altenator, fan hub, fluiddampner etc. Replacing the current Fass 95 titanium with a 150. For the body, installed new rockers and cab corners, replaced doors with rust free southern doors, installing a rust free southern box. Will be installing a fg visor and a fg ram air heat extraction hood. Installing a custom grill from Karriker Customs.- Dodge Off-road LLC
Got the rest of my parts today- Who's got springs like these?
My '99 Sport 3500 has the double overloads on top. #11000 gvwr My '17 has the same set up with double overloads on top, #14000 gvwr- Dodge Off-road LLC
@Red Rambler looks good. I'm still waiting for them to ship the rest of my parts.- 2000 to 2002 Steering upgrade
Hand calculated when it was stock on stock tires 215/85r16 and 3.55's DRW 4x4 auto on the highway at 65 I averaged 23.5 over a 500 mile trip. 100hp injectors, EJWA with hot unlock, and 255/85r16s I see 15-16 on the same trip but my odometer is uncorrected so the mileage is off 10%- 2000 to 2002 Steering upgrade
My lie-o-meter never goes that low, usually shows 28-29- Which Fass?
I have a 95 titanium on my truck. I had 100 hp injectors and EJWA with hot unlock. My pressure never dropped below 18 at wot. I am upgrading the pump to a 150 titanium as I am adding bigger injectors and a new VP with the new engine. The filters are the same for either pump.- Installed a Nations alternator - results
I ordered an altenator from nations for my '99 I emailed them and asked them to check and ensure it was the correct altenator for my application. From the part numbers I have seen it seems as if this might not be correct? 13874-180hp- Fender flares for a dually
I've never seen flares that I recall on the dually fenders on a 2nd gen, hence the Post. Apparently the bushwacker flares for 4th gens fit both srw and drw fenders, was just wondering if anyone had found a set for a 2nd gen. I may just wind up trying this on the rear. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B071G6FGM6/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1518314202&sr=8-7&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=1999+dodge+fender+flares- Fender flares for a dually
I'm going to have flares on the front. I keep my trucks undercoated. I was asking about flares for the dually fenders. I can't see flares making the plastic dually fenders rust out. The truck is getting a new rust free box and 4 doors. Frame will be blasted and painted. Once it's built it won't be driven as much in the salt. Living where I do the air is always salt. The windows in my house are always covered in salt residue from the sea spray.- Fender flares for a dually
I have flares for the front. On my other trucks I never noticed any more rust from using flares as long as you prep good and keep them from rubbing the paint off. I believe I'm going to run 35's and wanted to protect my dually fenders some from rocks and sand kicked up by the tires.- 2000 to 2002 Steering upgrade
I currently have Toyo M55 255/85r16's on my second gen. Guys claim they get 90k miles out of a set. I'll be lucky to get 30k.- Fender flares for a dually
Has anyone found a set of fender flares that will work on the rear of a second gen dually?- Flex plate selection
Mine was built Sept 2017. According to the tag. Maybe they corrected the issue - Stock clutch torque and hp rating
