  1. Yea I agree with ya on that! They are a pain in the butt!! I have replaced the one I have gotten from autozone 6 times, that's why I swapped over to oreillys .
  2. Alternator from Autozone is $94.99 plust $46. core charge with lifetime warranty. Or you can get it from Oreilly's is $165.99 but will price match Autozone! Just about all alternators are remaned by Ultima now a days!
  3. Well there was a few loads that were hauled that were real heavy! One was another load of storm shelters that put me grossing about 55k, and the other was about 30k! Yes I am wanting an exhaust brake, what is the best kind?
  4. I was driving down the road the other day pulling one of my heavy loads like always and I noticed when I applied my brakes, I heard a whoomping noise and felt like I had flat spots on the wheels! And then I started noticing that right was side had a grinding noise! Well I looked through the opening on my simulators and saw my rotor was cracked through to the center! I ordered new brake rotors, calipers, and brake pads! What threw me off is I just put these brake pads on less than 6 months ago! They were the Autozone Duralast Cmax pads! Well here a few pics of the old parts! I didn't take any pics of the new ones for comparision. I also replaced the wheel bearings and seals.
  5. Buddy of mine needed his house trailer moved! It was a 12'x60'! So I hitched up to her, hooked safety chains, rain an extension cord for my s,t,t lights, and spent $50 for permits in Arkansas and Mississippi! And off we went! It was a really easy pull for ole betsy! The trailer made it to its new resting spot and my good friend is extremely happy!
  6. I decided to be like Michael, but I think I took things a lil farther extreme though!
  7. I finally downloaded some more pictures! Here are some storm shelters that I hauled recently! Each half of the storm shelter weighs approximately 5500 lbs!
  8. Its a time consuming job, it wasn't too bad! Did mine a few months ago. Now would be a good time to replace injectors and connector tubes
  9. Finally go to go on an actual vacation! I'm in Branson MO and went on a scenic railway train ride and here is a picture in north western Arkansas, we were 1200 feet above sea level an 128 ft above the creek bed!
  10. I think I resemble that! Im from Arkansas ya know!!!!! Lmao
  11. Here is an idea for you! I replaced a vp 44 once an I thought I had realigned the key way properly! Well I was off just barely! The truck would start an idle fine but white smoked an ran a little rough when revved up! Pulled pump back off, an liked to never the key out of the shaft because I crushed it, put new key in aligned properly, the truck runs perfectly now!
  12. On mine you can really hear it!
  13. I took the silencer ring out of mine, with the bhaf an 5" straight exhaust, my truck really whistles!
  14. Wynne AR here! 45 miles from Memphis Tn, 110 miles from Little Rock, AR!
  15. I've been running bhaf for a while, but I can really hear the turbo spooling last couple of days! an it's puffing out black smoke like you wouldn't believe! I was pulling my 45' tandem dual gooseneck with a lil 4 door car on it the other night, my brother was beside me in my other dually an I poured the coal too it an he said you couldn't see the tail lights on the trailer, the smoke was so thick!
  16. Hey fellas I'm back, but I have a problem! When I'm driving down the road, I'm getting a real hard sucking air sound from the intake side! I'm running now psi on boost, but the turbo sounds like it is really spooling! All boots seem to be intact, although there is one that I am kind of worried about!
  17. Well fellas, it look likes I'm going to be living in my camper for roughly another 2-4 weeks!!! Corp of engineers, said they are going to be leaving the water on us to protect the major cities from flooding! I live on hwy 163 s in Wynne, AR and there is about 50 families in this stretch of road that are affected, about 10 of these families have lost their homes!
  18. I got conned into hauling some concrete storm shelters for a guy! Truck trailer loaded with fuel is 17k and the 5 units weigh in at 27,500!
  19. Oreilly auto parts has them in most of their stores for around 60 bucks!
  20. Yea my family an I are very fortunate and blessed! We live on high ground, its just the low groin is hindering us! Lol! Its the highest that I've ever seen it. Talking to some of the older folks its been since 1937 that it has been this high! I've been trying to post some pictures, but can't get them to load!
  21. Hey everyone, I just wanted to say I haven't abandoned yall! It's that with all the rain and rivers backing up, I'm flooded! My house, parent's house, and two brother's houses are all fine! They are all on the side of Crowleys Ridge, but I have several neighbors homes who are flooded and my heart goes out to them! They haven't gotten most of their belongings it, it's just they basically lost their homes!!! The road as of right now is better than 3 ft deep and it's not supposed to crest till near wednesday! After several days I finally got my parents to evacuate today! That took alot of effort to get them to leave their home of 27 yrs!
  22. Well the only problem that I know of with just installing one injector is, that it requires almost the same amount of time it would take to install all six! Private message me and I can get you a price of some good reman injectors! Just put 6 of these in another guys truck a couple of weeks ago and he's running strong!
  23. I installed the fittings that came with my ad II and I had problems with the tube being cracked! I made my own draw tube to use after the problems I had sucking air! Now I'm having problems with 1/4 tank issue that's why I'm going to be installing the drawtube in mine!
  24. If I had it to do over, when I installed my ad II I would definitely ordered the drawstraw! Actually I ordered one lastnight! Going to be installing it soon! Other than that install is pretty easy!! W
