Remember Russ; you need an LT tire that's E rated for your truck. That tire you linked is a P rated tire.

I find it "stressful" to drive fast, weaving in and out of traffic. I much prefer for all the idiot drivers to pass me. Even in states where the Interstate speeds are 75mph and faster; I usually put around 65-68mph and get my usual 20mpg or so!!

National Lampoon could make a whole series..................and sequels......................for all of the 57 states in our country...............about the "STUPID" drivers that are out on vacation.

The wood that I cut, split and stack this year won't be burned until winter '15-16!! I've got the wood for this coming winter...............I'm looking to get about 2 years ahead.

I'm jealous. Haven't CSS any wood since back in March. Need about 2 full cord to be a full 2 years ahead in firewood. The next-door neighbor has an ash tree that evidently has succumbed to the first stage of EAB. Gonna tell him the next time I see him that I'll take the firewood for free!!! Probably about 1/2 cord total. Heck..............free and close is good!!

Filled up today just as the DTE on the Lie-O-Meter hit 0. Wound up with 720 miles on the tank and filled up with 32.4 gallons for an average of 22.2mpg. Probably about 80-90 miles of the tank were towing my work trailer.

Just think of the fuel mileage increase if you did have your truck aligned!!!!

The one trip of mine back from NoDak that I've referenced a few times here was in temps of about 20*F. Twas roughly the same temp at home as when we left. We did have a 10-15mph NW wind blowing us home; but I was running the truck 75-80mph, and still got right at 21mpg. Just the truck loaded to the gills with 3 guys, 2 dogs, and hunting gear for 4 days. Just saying.
